Default Did Pam Adjust too quickly in the Ewings Household and the Barnes being minor

I'm currently re-watching Dallas and for some "weird" reason, I'm a little hooked and find myself singing the same Dallas tune and looking forward to it.

I guess it's because of season 2 which is such a great season, let's wait until next season one of my not so favorite.

okay, about pam It's only in the mini-series that you see her as an outsider. Everyone is distant to her.

by season 1, everyone is in love with Pam, but Mr and Mrs J.R Ewing, even jock tolerates her.

it was a little weird to see Jock talk about ruining cliff barnes in the office and at home being nice to Pamela.

Another thing that kinda made the barnes vs ewing feud not so much a big thing as it was publicized was the over emphasis on the Ewing and the under emphasis on the Barnes. I mean Digger disappears for half of season without any mention of it and the rest of the family Aunt Maggie and Jimmy barely play a role in the series.

For me, I saw a gradual acceptance of Pam. First Lucy, then Miss Ellie and then Jock. Jock could still be short with her at times, and unfortunately, many times he had a habit of throwing it in her face about "that brother of your, Pamela". I'm sure in moments like that Pam was uncomfortable.

Miss Ellie really had a motherly love for Pam, and Jock mellowed out a great deal, because he loved his son and surely did not want them to leave Southfork, and then there was always the desire that Pam and Bobby would give them more grandchildren.

you mean grandson. My goodness, Dallas is so male oriented, the granddaughter turns out to be the offspring of the looser weak son, while both bobby and J.R have boys.
