Im really loving Corrie at the moment considering it will have been on our screens for 45 years come Dec 05.
The blend of drama and comedy is just right and there are no naff gangsters around every corner (Eastenders take note).
Its still fresh and vibrant after all these years, go Corrie

The origional actor Neville Buswell is coming back for a short stint, unfortunately he's come back to tell Derdrie he is dying and when he dies he leaves a fortune to Tracey !!

I think it kinda seems obvious that Tracey and Steve end up together, its one of those big soap turnarounds where someones hated some one for years and suddenly their in love with them, brought on by the fact that the Suranne Jones (Karen) left quicky of course.
Am i the only one who didnt like Karen ? i thought Suranne Jones played the character waaaaay over the top, all that screeching & shouting to a point where it just got really irritating and embarassing to watch.
I also think that Tracey is much better looking than Karen. Im really glad she's gone.

You are about to watch the most popular show in the Uk with character who have been there for 20 plus years. This is the famous Richard Hillman episode.
I liked it! It reminds me a lot of a US daytime soap except with more location stuff. I eally liked the actress who originally got kidnapped and the woman who was looking for her and who found her in the garage. The psycho man was good also.
BTW, the actors are a lot better looking that I'd heard. Everyone said that UK soaps cast real people, not models like US soaps, but it seems the same to me for both. A good mix of beautiful, average and old. Basically, a normal group of people.
Also, I didn't get to watch the Brookside episode from the last update, is it worth me finding? Basically, was that show any good?
Brookside used to ge great, the show has since been axed. It was once very real with issue based storylines then it went OTT. The episode on that site is worth watching, this was near the end and a turning point in the show with a siege in the cul-de-sac and a helicopter crash.

Latest news from Corrie is that Sir Ian McKellern (yes Gandolf from Lord of the Rings) is going to do a 10 week stint as the author of the book Hard Grindings, which of course Norris's book club have been discussing lately.
Apparently there are some big names just longing for a small part in this soap, which says a lot about its credibility amongst the top actors in the UK.
