Joanne, series 1 and 2 are the only ones released on DVD so far. You should be able to get it at any major store that sells DVDs (I've seen it at HMV), however, you can get a better deal if you buy it online.

Thanks for the information, it's about 5 years since i last saw an episode of Dallas. I timed my daughters bottles for 2pm on UK Gold!

My husband thinks I am really sad with the Dallas ring tone on my phone, but I don't care.

    Hi there Joanne1,

Lovely to have you on our boards here... nice to see another Brit amongst us. Theres quite a few of us here, although i would say the majority are american or canadian. But then theres a load from France too, some from Germany, all over which is cool!
Im in Essex though, not really near where you are.

I watched the last run on UKGold too, heh, It was a nightmare, on at like 1 or 2am, i ended up stating up most night to watch it, but i had college on the weekdays so i would have to be up at like 7 or 7.30.... didnt do me much good sleep-wise, but i needed my dose of dallas! haha.

    Enjoy your time here,

Look forward to reading your posts.

    DJ.

Hi there Joanne i am from Sheffield in Yorkshire am a life long Dallas fan. I remember when Dallas used to be UK Gold at 2am i used to tape it and watch it later before i went to bed with a glass or two of Jack Daniels to keep me company. It as been years since i last saw Dallas but am interested in getting the DVD's but ideally want to wait until i know Warner are going to release all 13 seasons.

Where abouts are you from in the UK?

    Hi all

I didn't know UK Gold had shown it so early in the morning, I watched it in the afternoon, my only wish is that they would show it again, preferably in the evening.

Any way, I have been on Play.com and they have series one and two in a box set (which i left clearly open for my husband to see) for about £24.00. I take your point about waiting but I feel this would tide me over till then.

So nice of you all to reply to my message, I am looking forward to chatting with you all.

Joanne1...I too have the ring tone...My phone rang while I was in the middle of teaching, and my students recognized the tone.

I have them hooked on Dallas as well, as they are hurrying to get all their assignments for the week completed so they can FINALLY SEE who actually did shot JR. I'm holding over thier heads all day tomorrow, since Friday will be the day they see it, IF they do what they're told.

    Hi

Did you show them the episode of who shot JR? My husband was in america with his family when it was first aired. They knew before we did in the UK, i really do wish I knew him then.

Not only does my husband think I am sad (iwas already sad when he married me so what does he expect), my collegues all think I am sad too when my phone went off the other day, they kinda looked at me with a "what the......" kinda look on their faces. lol

    I like him X

    Hi Joanne,

Originally I'm from Guernsey (Channel Islands) but divide my time between there and Leeds, where I am at the moment. I have had similar experience with a Dallas ring tone on my phone. But nothing beats that theme tune though, does it???

Welcome to the board, Joanne. I'm originally from Birmingham but now live in Brixton. Also, the people that own/run the Ultimate DALLAS site are in the UK, so I guess you could say it's British in origin.

I have all the DALLAS episodes on tape: some from the original BBC run, some from the original video release about a million years ago, some from the re-runs the BBC did, and some from the various UK Gold runs. I've sort of lost track of how many copies of each episode I've got, and there are even more duplicates now with the DVD box set. Nevertheless, I kiss each and every tape each night before I go to bed.

Well, my understanding is that Colin is the genius behind the scenes, and Pamela is his representative here on earth sort of thing.
