Excessive profanity or potentially offensive content

Ok I am picking myself off the floor

We thought we would have a try at making some money so applied to the Google adshare programme, we may not of done it, but someone told us about, so we thought we would try anyway.

Well we filled in the application etc etc and then received a response saying we were

TURNED DOWN......................The reason being....wait for it......

We've found that your website contains content
that isn't in compliance with our program policies. We don't allow websites with excessive profanity or offensive content.


Mmmmmmm sorry but when was Dallas offensive and where is all the profanity? Please dont tell me the Larry Hagman interview has reared its head and deemed unsuitable or maybe Google is run by a Doris Day type.

Yeah how odd, Im not bothered in the slightest I just think its amusing.

Apparently they hate paying out on this scheme and infact a friend of mine was accused of cheating and thrown off the programme. That wasnt the case.

Seems like some kind of Google scam, maybe they only take sites with 5 hits so they dont need to pay out.

That's possible. "Dynasty" lacked profanity as the writers couldn't spell any...

They replied and its because of the Larry interview. They have asked us to edit it.

Apparently its a really scheme but I do think thats a tad nannying. They need to put things in context.
