I was thinking about the first episode of Dallas the other day, and I remembered something which was strange about JR's car - when he takes Bobby to that little set up with Ray and Pam. (loved that scene)

Well, JR didn't seem to have any head rests on the driver's and passenger seats. For it to have been a Mercedes, I don't think that must have been very comfortbale.

    Did anyone else notice this?

What year did Mercedes start putting headrests in their cars.............maybe it was a vintage.......?? Or maybe the head rest was removed for the shot........??

I think it was probably removed for the shot. But it certainly looked strange.

Maybe it was the cheapest Mercedes they could find on their shoestring budget?

The world or `life' may seem to more often overwhelm the human being, but it is the human being's capacity for struggling against being overwhelmed which is remarkable and exhilarating." — Lorraine Hansberry
