Donna: An intellectual or a drop out??

Just saw Donna's first appearance on Dallas in season one when she has this hot fling with Ray. She tells Bobby that the dropped twice out of college en then married Sam: how does this connect to the intellectual and executive Mrs Krebbs of seasons three until nine??

i loved to charactor. Donna was always a great secondary charactor.

Donna was a great character who stood her grounds. After his failure in season one, JR never ever crossed Donna's path again (lucky Ray!) but anyone knows if she was as intellectual as she seemed or was she just smart and ambitious??

I always thought Donna Krebbs was a very important "side-presence" on "Dallas". Frankly, I always thought of her as one of the basic core characters of the show.
Too bad Katzman had 'other standards' on his mind...
