    That´s it. Bye!
Tack så hemskt mycket. Jag såg inslaget och det var kul.

I am really looking forward to watch the new show now. I also saw a commercial for it on the swedish tv channel TV4 on saturday.
Maybe that means that they won't wait until the fall with broadcasting it?

Watching that made it feel so much more real...they were broadcasting the trailer in connection to the European Championship in football too so that's a big deal!

TNT now has the new Dallas trailers and several of the original Dallas episodes available On Demand. What is great about watching some of the original episodes On Demand is that they have inserted some previously unseen footage of the new Dallas at the "commercial break" portions of each episode. Haven't watched them all but there are some good scenes. Also, there seems to be a second variation of the "Story Behind Dallas" trailer. The part I noticed that's different is towards the end of the clip where Christopher and Bobby are at Southfork looking out into the horizon. In the original clip, that's all you see. In the variation, you get to see that they are actually watching an oil tanker truck driving through (presumably Southfork) carting off newly extracted SF oil. Pretty profound when you consider the significance of JR really breaking from his mother's and father's ban on drilling on SF. So, I guess JR is actually "turning this ranch into an oil field."

They are referring to Sue Ellen leaving Dallas and taking John Ross to Europe - that is clearly Season 12.
I wouldn't mind if they left out everything beyond that but then they would give up the chance to bring in another potential heir...
    God, I am soooooo excited!!!

For those of you that can't see it: just found a solution:
    Use www.proxy.org
choose f.e. "Proxyultra.com for US" and paste the youtube adress in top ("Enter a URL to visit:")
It will maybe ask you to install a certificate, but it's trustworthy and - most important - it works..

As usual, this video is "unavailable in your country". I'll make much more of "Dallas" "available in my living room" on June 14th hahahaha!

So it is possible she was keeping him from JR during those years. Those were also the years that Cliff owned Ewing Oil, so that goes along with John Ross mentioning Cliff "stealing" the company from them.
But consider this: John Ross was born in 1979 and JR Returns was made in 1996, thus John Ross was about 17 years old. Therefore, Sue Ellen's legal custody or legal guardianship of John Ross had less than one year left. Once John Ross turns 18, he's no longer a minor, he's an adult, and the legal custody/guardianship becomes invalid at that time.

BTW, I liked it when John Ross tell's JR that he's staying in England and calls Jimmy "that stupid baby."

Originally, yes. However, she let John Ross choose where to live in season 12 (DVD). She made JR sign a document giving her full custody, and she let John Ross stay at Southfork in return. However, John Ross decides to live with Sue Ellen in the final season because he was jealous of JR's relationship with James and Jimmy.

However, ProdicalSon brings up a good point. It is possible something happened that caused Sue Ellen to keep John Ross in boarding school. In JR Returns, JR even asks Sue Ellen if she's going to be the one to change things between him and John Ross. She says "I did it before. Don't think I won't do it again." awesome video - but:

This is just great! A history of the Ewings! But in all these trailers and previews, I have NEVER seen Cliff although he's in 3 episodes. The Barneses are even mentioned is this new video, but they only talk about Digger. Wouldnt that have been the perfect moment to show some footage of Cliff? C'mon, they even showed Elena's mom, the cook - seriously, who cares about her?!

Is Ken Kercheval maybe that bad/ill looking that they totally "hiding" him? Or am I just seeing something into this?

I can't see Sue Ellen going back on that and purposely keeping John Ross from seeing his father.
