I'd be very interested in hearing from other Patrick Duffy fans. I have been a huge PD fan ever since I was about 10 years old and I saw him in "Atlantis" in THOSE shorts! Twenty-something years later, I have just been to London to see him in Art, which was just great!

I'd also be interested to learn whether there is a PD fan club anywhere... I'm in the UK, but I guess it doesn't matter where it is...

Looking forward to hearing from other
Duffy-ites!

Sadly I missed Patrick Duffy in ART http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif but I am working on a fan page for him. I have lots of pics and his biography. There is no fan club as such that I know of.

DebbyE,

I couldn't think of a better topic to write about :-) I love PD. I was crazy in love with him at the silly age of 11 when I first saw him in Man From Antlantis. Only 1 word that describes him from top to bottom-HOT!!!!

I'm extremely jealous of VP and all her intimate scenes she got to share with PD. No I'm kidding but I would have loved to trade places w/her any day. I have faithfully followed him since MFA here in the states. I would love to see Art if it ever comes to D.C. I will be there front and center with plenty of kleenex (to wipe away the drool of course :-)

My fiance says I go a bit overboard when it comes to PD and Kyle Chandler of Early Edition but I can't help it. He has his Jennifer Lopez moments so turn about is fair play :-)

Good to hear from another PD fan. There are many of us here who share your feelings about him.

I, too, must admit to being totally "gone" on Patrick Duffy. I never watched Man from Atlantis when it was originally on, and I have never seen it in reruns anywhere either. I liked PD fine when Dallas had its original run on TV, but I didn't become obsessed with him until TNN started showing it. Since then, I've watched every movie he's done that I can get my hands on; I'll even scrounge around the TV guide looking for guest shots he's made on other series. I once taped a "Charlie's Angels" episode that came on at 6:00 a.m., just because he was a guest star. (And I really hate Charlie's Angels!)
My husband teases me unmercifully about it - he calls PD "my man." But I just think he is the total package - looks, humor, intelligence, warmth, committed family man - well, I could go on and on.
You are really going to enjoy this site, DebbieE. You will find lots of PD fans here, as well as great info about other web sites, movies, tv spots, etc.
I have to admit I am SO jealous of those of you who have been able to see him live in "Art" - I think my husband would draw the line at a trip to London to see him, so I'll have to live vicariously through the rest of you lucky European fans. http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hi Debby, nice to meet you.

I went to see Art in April. When he came on in the blackout, I knew it was him cos I know the way he walks and I nearly screamed out loud!!!!

I got his autograph and I have it framed in my room. I love him. He's just beautiful!

Hi, me again!

I agree - Art was really brilliant. Even my husband - who is not a PD fan and had to be, shall we say "persuaded" to come with me to London - had to admit that he enjoyed it too. From the moment he walked on, he stole the show - well, for me anyway! I didn't manage to get an autograph, but I still went home grinning like the Cheshire cat!

Nice to hear from so many other PD fans. Now I can at least inform my hubby that I'm not alone!

Hi, Debbie and welcome!

I too am a major Patrick Duffy fan. I didn't get to watch Man from Atlantis. I didn't even know about the show (but I was young enough to watch it back in the 70's!) until I came to this wonderful site. It is true, we do talk about Patrick A LOT! because I guess he was the major hunk-o-rama of Dallas and he is just plain and simple - my hero! Such a Prince in Shining Armor, such a Sir Lance A Lot, well to me anyway! No body else comes close to him on Dallas. I wanted to marry a man just like Bobby James Ewing when I grew up. (Well I came close to it), but he was the Babe-O-Rama of Dallas and he still is today. I don't miss a movie or a show on Patrick Duffy. He is SO talented in a dramatic role, as well as a funny role. I just adore him. What more can I say about him! Oh ya, one more thing, !!!Yowza!!!

Stay tuned for more PD!! : )

I'm a Patrick Duffy fan. I first saw him in the pilot episode of Dallas and fell in love with him at first sight. He was so genuine, funny and loyal. Mind you, I was the tender age of 8.
I vowed to find my own "Bobby" and am happily married to a man who has all of the character traits of Bobby (and looks too). Lucky me http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I have to admit that Bobby is my favorite character, even though he's a little sexist at times (not wanting Pam to work, for example). And his "death" scene was by far the saddest thing I've ever seen in TV's history.

I do have my own personal PD story. When I was working at the Red Lion Inn in Durango, Colorado back in my college days, every September, a group of people on motorcycles would stop there for a couple days (I got to do room service for Lorenzo Lamas!) And one of the waitresses said to me all excited, "Guess who's staying here, Patrick Ewing!" She got a little mixed up, but of course I knew who she was talking about. http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I REALLY wanted to meet him, but unforuntately, he didn't come down to the restaurant for dinner.
