You know, if Pamela really did leave on her own (I still say Kathereine did something to her), it took a lot of guts on the part of Pamela to leave. I mean to get up and leave both your child, husband, brother, money, everything....damn that woman had some guts. I mean if I was in that position, I don't think I could go through something traumatic on my own.
So hats off to Pamela, the girl had guts.

Yes Frankie this is why we Dallas fans yearn for a 3rd reunion so the Pam dissappearence story line can be closed for good. I still want to believe right along w/you that Katherine had something to do with her sudden dissappearence. PD got his wishes when he asked for his character to be killed off but only in a heroic fashion. I wonder if VP had any input to as how Pam would exit? If this was indeed VP's wishes for how Pam would go then shame on VP. I don't believe she was consulted about Pam's departure because I feel she would have never allowed Pam to take a cowards way out. She molded Pam and that's why Pamela Barnes Ewing was one of the greatest, strongest, energetic and fun loving characters to watch.

It must have been hard for her, but I think it was pretty bad what she did. As much as I liked Pamela, I did not respect her for leaving. If her child was important to her she would have stayed with him, the same goes for Bobby. If she loved them she would have stayed, not what she did, just picking up and leaving with no explanation. For that I cannot respect her decision.
I did not enjoy that cliffhanger, I think the writers could have wrote her off better than they did, with better explanation. Hopefully it will all be resolved, if there ever is another reunion.

Frankie, I coouldn't disagree more with your post. I never understand why people say it takes guts to hurt your loved ones. I think
what she did was totally gutless, she stabbed Bobby and Christopher in the heart and twisted the knife. All becouse she wasn't beautiful anymore. Above all the whining, it is the single most reason I hate Pamela. I'd guess by your post you think all of those fathers who run out on their kids and don't pay child support are hero's? I mean what is the difference between that and what she did, besides the money?
Maybe the Menendez brothers and O.J. had a lot of guts too.
How about Jeffery Dahmer, it must have taken
guts to eat those people. Maybe they should have put him on survivor!

Ok, well number one, they were all murderers. If Pamela murdered Bobby and Christopher, I think she wouldn't have guts, she'd be a looney. So you're talking about apples and oranges there, dude.
And...you mean to tell me if you had to leave your family, in a flash without saying goodbye and never having your things with you. Pamela, IF (and that's a very big if) she did leave on her own, left everything behind. All she took with her was her memories.
And, furthermore, the show hinted (at least from what I got from it) that Pamela had a disease which is why she didn't leave.
But you know what, two more things I want to add on. You say that you hate Pamela's whining. She didn't say a single solitary word while she was in that hospital. Please tell me how her whining is relevant to her leaving. And I'm sorry if I sound gutless too, but I'm a teenager and yea I'm not the best looking guy in the world, but if I was in an auto accident with my face a mess, I'd definitly toy with the notion to leave and have it fixed.
I think that's what Pamela did, but as the story went on the writers led us to beleive Pamela was diagnosed with some disease, which yielded her feelings to never come home again.
So I can't exactly say your wrong in your post, because your validatated in some of your opinions. But to comapare Pamela to OJ, the Menedez Brothers, and Jeffrey Dahmer is totally outrageous.
And btw, my post never mentioned anything about father's and mother's who don't pay child support. And if you want my opinion, she should have paid child support.

Hey Frankie, I was just trying to be funny.
Part of my sense of humor is my exagerations!
don't take it personally.
