I agree with Cliff Barnes, except for:

#11 "weddings always are"

------------------
Cliff:"You used to plot revenge against the Ewings"
Pam:"I think marrying one is the best revenge"

I popped in "Digger's Daughter" and here is Sue Ellen's first line:

"I never knew you were so impulsive, Bobby."

I do believe we did one of these before, with a first line / last line for each major character. I will do some digging on the forum and see what I can come up with. (There are 26 pages, lol).

"Sleep on little sister, sleep on..."

Bobby: First - "Well that's a fine state of affairs..."
Last - "Oh my God"

JR: First - not sure

Last - "My God, what a nightmare."

Hope that helps, I can't really think of any others atm.

Ok, I have found Cliff Barnes' first and final lines:
First :

Digger's Daughter (1978) : On the TV in JR's office we see Cliff interviewing a man who worked for the Ewings for an investigation
Cliff asks :" You work for Jock Ewing personally or Ewing Oil?

Last :

The Decline and Fall of the Ewing Empire (1991) :"Not only do I want it to remain Ewing Oil but right under that sign, in big bold letters, I want it to say :Cliff Barnes, President. Then I'm gonna take a picture and send it to JR."

Last line in Connundrum dream :

" That was the Cheif Of Staff, the president has just had a stoke. As of now I am the acting president of the United States."

I have never seen JR Returns so I do not know what his last line in that was.

----------------------------------------

Cliff_Barnes

--------------------

JR's first line was in his office while watching Clff Barnes' interview on TV and Julie wants to open the curtains, but warns him that it will make a glare on the TV, JR replies:
" Go ahead open 'em up maybe the glare will blind that jackass."

----------------------------------------

--------------------

John Ross's first line was when Sue Ellen was planing to leave JR for Dusty in Jock's Trial Part I.(I think) As Sue Ellen was leaving the nursury Baby John say:
"Mama"
John Ross's last line was in The Decline and Fall of the Ewing Empire (1991). He phones JR to tell him he's not coming home and JR treatens to come over there and beat some sense into him at which John Ross replies :

"You just try it, you don't have any rights over me so why don't you go play with James and his stupid baby cause I'm never coming back."

Again I am not sure of his last JRR line

Pamela's first full line: "Bobby James Ewing, I dont believe you."
Bobby's first full line: "Now that's a fine state of affairs, we're married less than 24 hours and my new bride doubts my varasity."

Cliff's first line (on the tv): "You work for Jock Ewing personally, or Ewing Oil?"

Julie Grey's first line: "JR, you want me to open the drapes or not? Daylight'll make a glare on the tv."

JR's first line: "Go ahead, open 'em up. Maybe the glare'll blind that jackass."

Jock's first line: "You watchin' this thing?" referring to Cliff's tv conference.

Ray's first line: "Yes sir" from up in the hay loft.

Lucy's first line: "That werent close at all. He'd never come up here."

Miss Ellie's first line: "I'm sorry, I don't know what to say."

Sue Ellen's first line: "I never knew you were so impulsive, Bobby.

Digger's first line: "Thank you, thank you sir, that's mighty nice of you."

----------------------------------------

Pamela

--------------------

To hear Miss Ellies last line you have to turn the sound up on your tv. Its something like "bye" LoL as she gets in the car.

----------------------------------------

Tuomas

--------------------

Well, of course this does not really count, but I just have to add that these SORT OF were Bobby's last and first line (in that order!) as well:
"I love you all so much"

"Good morning"

Also, here“s one memorable last line by Angelica Nero: "It's too late, J.R.! It's too late!"

------------------
-The piano has been drinking, not me.-

----------------------------------------

Tuomas

--------------------

I was looking for April's last line today in her final episode (except Bobby's visions) but noticed she doesn't have any dialogue in it, just some screams. Her last line was probably heard in previous episode. If only I had known!
But I checked out the dream season cliffhanger and here are some last lines from characters who disappeared in the next episode without a trace. Angelica was already handled, but here's a few more.

Ben Stivers: "Thanks for the coffee." (He is seen once more, but doesn't have any dialogue in that scene.)

Tony: "Is that bothering you?"

Mark Graison: "I do." (This would have been his last line anyway, since he was supposed to die in the same episode.)

This was supposed to be Jamie's last line, but wasn't: "Make it fast."

And from season 9 cliffhanger, here's Mandy's final words: "Don't count on it, Sue Ellen. You'll hear from me again."

------------------
-The piano has been drinking, not me.-

----------------------------------------

I don't think we ever completed the list, and I am pretty sure it has never been made into a section on the site. This could be a fun project for us all who have tapes to dig them out, lol...

"Sleep on little sister, sleep on..."

Where did Ellie go

Pam's last words weren't "be home in 20 minutes". You have to consider what she said when Cliff and April went down to visit her, after the accident. She said something to her surgeon about only having a few months to live. (Of course, she was played by a different actress at this time.)

Poster Pamela said "Pam played by Victoria Principal" then gave the first and last lines that VP said as Pamela...
