Pam Ewing

Miss Ellie, Sue Ellen, Pam, Lucy, Donna. They're all great women. What are some of the good deeds they've done over the years?
------------------
Cliff:"You used to plot revenge against the Ewings"
Pam:"I think marrying one is the best revenge"

The nicest thing I can think of that SueEllen did was:
In one of the later seasons, there was a custody fight over John Ross. Sue Ellen won custody, but then she allowed John Ross to chose where he wanted to live. She let him stay at Southfork because it was his home.
I think this showed how much she cared for her son. She wanted him to be happy even if that meant John Ross would be living with JR.
Instead of holding on to John Ross to spite JR, she put aside her hostility for JR to allow her son to be happy.

I agree Susie, Sue Ellen made a difficult decision but it showed how much she loved John Ross. I really respected her for that, putting her personal feelings and wants and needs aside for her child, thats very commendable.

Pam stayed with Mark Grayson when she found out he was dying.
Miss Ellie acepted Ray as Jock's son.

Cliff:"You used to plot revenge against the Ewings"
Pam:"I think marrying one is the best revenge"
Pam also ran out on her son just because her face was a little extra crispy, but I guess that was the writer's fault, lol :-).

Donna didn't give up on Ray when he was going through his down period following his failed business deal and Jock's death, even though she would have been justified to do so.
Lucy bounced back from her pill addiction at the end of season one.
Sue Ellen eventually became more than a match for JR.
Pam, during the dream season, realized that there was more to life than Ewing Oil and handed her half over to JR before she married Mark Graison.
Miss Ellie had the courage to try to overturn Jock's will because she was doing what she thought would keep the family together. It's a hard thing to say on a stand that your deceased husband was mentally incapacitated.
Ms. Ellie went through surgery where she had a breast removed and still came out on top as a beautiful and classy lady.
Donna loved Ray and neva gave up on him when he didnt love himself and cheated on her with Bonnie.
Pam showed continual support and love for her brother Cliff even though he was obcessivly overbearing.
Sue Ellen took out the time to show Jamie love and support when she first came to Dallas.
Mrs Ellie removed the picture of her First husband and children father "JOCK" to make Clayton more comfortable.....this against JR & even Bobby's wishes who were however who happy when she suggested they hang it at Ewing Oil.
Sue Ellen signed away the rights of her own nephew (kristins baby) Christopher so that Pam & boby could adopted him since Pam couldnt have a baby and even knowing it could have been JR's child as a result of an affair he had with her sister while they were still married (Even though it was later discovered tha he wasnt the father after all and tha Kristin miscarried his child)..
Pam forgave her mother for abandoning her and cliff years ago and gladly accepted her bach into her life.
Sue Ellen always loved ,supported, & cared for JR despite how evil he was to her and others..
Pam loved Bobby despite of the turmoils and trials she had with the Ewing/Barnes feud.
Donna went to a school for the deaf to help children whcih resulted in her and Ray adopting tony........Oh wait a min Pam only dreamed she did lol......

ROFLOL! http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Good one Tessie--where's R.B. when you need him??
http://images.bravenet.com/brpics/smilie/wave1.gif
I am looking up.......^^.
Just when I am needed .........I don't understand what I am needed for.........???? http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif
If your asking me whether I thought Miss Ellie was wimpy..................I would say yes...........she was like a duck out of water after Jock died.
However, that doesn't necessarily mean that she wasn't a strong woman...........she seems like her character was set long before the series started..........and.........I'd say she was the prototypical Texas frontier plains type woman.
She must have received a lot of this direction from her parents and from when she was growing up. Just my opinion.
Now...........did the whole need thingy go over my head..............?? http://images.bravenet.com/brpics/smilie/wave1.gif

ChrisSumnnerMatheson said that Jamie stayed with Cliff after she learned he had a contagious disease; Dallaschick asked if his disease was being a Barnes, and I said that his disease was being a wimp. Get it? http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
