Character Fan Clubs

Okay, I was reading posts and saw Jarrett's joke quit message, where he claims to be a member of the Ray Krebbs and Carter McKay fan clubs. Also, one of the SueEllens of this site said she was a member of the Sue Ellen fan club.

I was just wondering if we could maybe expand on that. What if we really made fan clubs? We would choose our top 3 or so favourite characters and make little clubs about them. Of course, the JR and Sue Ellen clubs would be the most popular, but there are a lot of other characters that would have clubs. I personally would found the Katherine Wentworth club, lol.

A big drawback I see is that there is actually a JR Ewing Fan Club in existance. I remember stumbling upon it a year or so ago before I discovered this site. It was up for sale then, and last I checked about a month or so ago, it was still up for sale.

Anyway, what does everyone think of actually having Character Fan Clubs? If there is any interest in this, we could expand on it and see how we could go about it.

I was thinking, having character fan clubs would be interesting when mailing a Dallas star and requesting an autograph or something. It might mean more, and perhaps it could draw people to this site.

I dont know about anyone else, but I would join a Cliff Barnes fan club. I would also like to send Jenilee Harrison a fan letter, so I guess I would join the Jamie Ewing Barnes fan club too.

Great Post AK!! I had the same idea the other night, so I made a Ray Krebbs fanclub page on YAHOO. There will also be a few other clubs like McCay, maybe Katherine, and some others. I am also going to write a new fanfic this summer for a fall debut that will be on the fanclub site. Once I get these clubs in order I will post the address.

Anyone who actually likes Katherine is welcome to join in, dont join just to bash her, that is what this place is for, lol.

I just created the club so I, the self-proclaimed Number One Fan of Katherine (not a lot of sane people love her, lol), would be in charge. I created it, in case any one else is wanting to create a club, at yahoo under Entertainment and then Television.

Let's see if we can get these clubs off the ground.

The Patrick Duffy and Victoria Principal fan clubs would be more popular than Sue Ellen fan clubs. They both already have several websites devoted to them , while I am not aware of any Linda Grey websites.

Sue Ellen and JR fan clubs would definitely be the most popular. They are the most interesting characters after all.

I would single handedly form the "I hate Mandy Winger" club. LOL!!!
