If CBS decided to make another reunion, and they picked you to write the next and final reunion, what would you write?? What characters would you bring back?? What storylines would you have??
I'll post mine later, but I'm curious about what y'all would do.

Morgan Brittany concludes strongly Dallas will yield a new movie or even a series. She would like to see a Tarantino directed Dallas. That would extremely interesting and give Dallas back some of its credibility. The down side would be continual swear words and graphic violence. Rather than possessing a rifle Miss Ellie would have a sawn off shot gun and blast trespassers through the head. Ray Krebbs and Bobby would be hired hit men paid by J.R to blow away anyone who double crossed him. Finally Sue Ellen would away from alcohol onto heroin. Interesting but unlikely.

I would definately put closure on Pam's and Bobby's relationship. There are way too many fans that want and need closure, especially with these two. Either trying to bring back VP or getting a look-alike to play her. (Remember Pam had plastic surgery done!). With Pam being gone for all of those years I would either write that she finally recovered from her burns and that she needed time to re-discover herself (as lame as that sounds!) but she realized that she needs Bobby and Christopher in her life and she still loves Bobby and Bobby loves her, too. I would end up with Pam marrying Bobby and with Pam discovering she was pregnant. I would end the show with Sue Ellen as President and J.R. as CEO of Ewing Oil. Bobby would be VP. Bobby would be more interested in getting back together with Pam and give Sue Ellen more control over J.R.'s wheelin' and dealin's. Sue Ellen seemed to be more in control of herself at the last reunion movie and I think it would be more interesting to see her fighting off J.R. than Bobby doing it.
Somehow writing in that J.R. was able to get control of Ewing Oil again. What would a next movie be with closure of J.R. getting his precious Ewing Oil back and finally becoming the biggest independent oil company that he always dreamed of.
I would definately put more of a story line with John Ross and Pamela Rebecca along with Christopher. They would both be fighting for Pamela's love and that would leave J.R. and Cliff fighting over each other and getting between the love triangle. We would see more of the next generation with bringing back James and Debra Lynn and their son James, Jr. Cally's would come back with her son and either making a cameo and leaving her son to live on Southfork and she going back to California. I would bring back Ray divorced from Jenna. To bring back Jenna would be a waste of time. She and Charlie would still be living in Europe. Charlie would be a famous model and Jenna would be her manager or have her own clothes line in Europe. Cliff and Afton are still together and Cliff is retired and is trying to have a normal relationship with Pamela Rebecca and has resumed his relationship with his sister, Pam. Afton would be a retired singer and tring to keep her family together. Donna would come back with a grown up Margaret, and finally having Ray get back together with Donna and become a family as they should be.
I would leave Miss Ellie and Clayton only by them calling and talking to everyone. Since Barbara BG won't come back to the series and I believe Howard Keel won't come back either I would at least mention their names. Lucy would be single still and mooching off Southfork and I would leave her the same way or if not a Junior VP at Ewing Oil. (I'm not sure on that one!).
There needs to be more emphasis put on who will take control of Ewing Oil with J.R. getting older. I think John Ross and Christopher should be given CEO and President positions once they both turn 21. Leaving the ending with John Ross being just like J.R. and Christopher being just like Bobby. Finally, Sue Ellen and J.R. find true love and J.R. and Sue Ellen getting married for a fourth time. The ending is J.R. showing John Ross the steps of being a Ewing Oil CEO just like Jock showed J.R. I would entitle the movie "Dallas: The New Millennium".

Get ready, this is long, lol. So long, I made a copy in case I mess up or power fails I can repost & not lose my work, haha. My idea is to wrap things up in a 5 part mini-series, having it go out as it came in. I dont think you could get all this into a 2 hour movie, haha, but this is what I would do if I were producer (or reproducer, lol) to sow everything up and leave a door open for a next generation.
Clayton and Ellie return to SF. Ellie is sick which is why she wants to be close to home. SF was never Claytons home so he did his best to talk Ellie into giving up taking care of everyone and live her own life with him so they could start things fresh together. He never thought theyd have peace until they got out on their own. With all the stress of SF on her health, she eventually agreed which is why they left. Now that she is sick however, she wants to die at SF, so Clayton reluctantly returns home with her.
Ellie dealing with death (make it a lingering illness so she can be around a while without falling apart too much so she can still interact), Claytons anger about being back there, the eventual loss of Ellie, his going to all lengths to keep her from the stress of the house, can all be points of conflict. The others will not know whats going on with them at first.
Even Clayton and Bobby can but heads as Bobbys been in charge a while and doesnt want to go back to 2nd string just because Clayton is back. He feels hes earned the right to stay in charge of SF, which is fine by JR and for once the brothers can unite.
Bobby still retains ownership of EO 50/50 with SE, but hes opted to run the ranch and tend to SF again (after returning from Europe after his newest relationship didnt work out). As long as JRs in oil, he knows he wont get peace and thats all he wants. Christopher is back from college and helps Bobby with the ranch. Hes a bit lost right now as to direction in his life and the scars of his upbringing and disappearing mother, adoption, etc are starting to get to him, giving him an early Ray type quality.
John Ross is also back and unsure how to do biz, as JR taught him, or as he learned in school so he is a bid of a Bobby/JR hybrid. SE has more of a killer instinct in running EO, but needs help with daily operations, so John Ross works with her and is given 20% of SEs 50% as incentive.
JR, over at Westar is unhappy having to answer to a board even though they dont mind him playing dirty which has restored him to his former glory. He would like to get control of EO again. He now has Charlie (Jennas daughter) working for him, who still dislikes Bobby for the whole Jenna thing and the fact he turned his back on Lucas for the sake of peace in the family. Shes a Kristin type whos teamed up with JR to help him get EO back so she can feel she got revenge on Bobby and upset her mom and stepdad at the same time.
Their plan is that she gets close to John Ross and start a fling. She then gets after him about starting his own biz as opposed to running EO. She finally acts like shes so upset about him not going out on his own, she breaks up with him, saying she doesnt want to be serious about anyone connected with EO after what Bobby and Ray have done to her. JR swoops in and buys John Ross 20% to give John Ross enough money to start his own ventures. John Ross finds out he was swindled and JR and Charlie have to regain his love, particularly Charlie who now realizes she really does love John Ross.
SE finds out about a hostile EO takeover, but is able to avert it. She finds out it comes from Westar, but not b4 losing 10% of the company through a bad deal with JR. She is infuriated with him, especially after finding out this now gives JR 30% of EO and her only 20% (because it was her deal, as per her agreement with Bobby for her running EO on her own, the amount comes out of her share). This gives them conflict as he tries to get her both in bed and to sell out to him as she still sleeps across the hall, knowing this is the only way to keep him interested.
Cliff and Afton are happily married, but in order for her to stay with Cliff, he must remain retired (from his money on the EO sale) and away from battle with the Ewings.
He is now like a Digger Barnes type from the mini-series, only not a drunk. He does oppose Christopher and Pamela Rebeccas ongoing relationship and wants to do all he can to break it up. He hires Wendells son (an exact young Wendell clone conceived after Wendells release from jailWendell settled down and had kids, but was a broken man which is why the son is so hot to get the Ewings back) who has an obvious ax to grind with the Ewings, along with Carter McKay to run a biz he set up with some of his money. They are involved in various things, but its basically all designed to destroy anything Ewing. Cliff oversees this from a distance which will eventually cause problem with he, Afton and Pamela Rebecca.
Bobby goes to see Katherine, who has finally been captured and sent back to the US. Through some legal maneuvers and technicalities she is released, but not before telling Bobby in spite that the woman Cliff met was not Pam, but a look-alike she hired. This same woman was sent to Dallas to fool Bobby and when it didnt work out she was released from her duties. The scam was to break up Bobbys marriage to April so Katherine could swoop in and pick up the pieces. Once it didnt work out and April was finally shot, the law was too close to Katherine to continue her scams. She tells him she orchestrated Pams leaving the hospital (thus making him think she ran out on them) and he would never learn what happened to her. She then goes to work with Wendell and McKay, not knowing Cliff is behind the company, which again will add for some surprise and conflict.
The new events send Bobby off to look for Pam. He will eventually find her, but shes had a breakdown from the trauma of everything and suffered memory loss. Katherine had her taken away, but once she had been restored through plastic surgery, Katherine fed her a false story of who she really was and set up a phony life for Pam that she lived out until a head injury triggered faint memories of another life. By the time Bobby catches up with her she has patches of who she was, but there are still some holes in her memory. Of course, once Bobby brings Pam back to SF to open much drama and conflict, particularly with JR and Christopher. We find the woman in the blond wig was indeed Katherine who even then was making plans to get Pam out of the way.
Bobby eventually agrees to sell JR 25% (half) of his stake in Ewing Oil if he signs a contract. Anything he does to Pam or Ellie/Clayton will make the contract void and he will have to return the 25%. JR signs thinking he can indirectly get rid of Pam and Clayton again without Bobby knowing he had anything to do with it. After some good arguments before hand with Clayton and Pam, JR plays nice, at least on the surface. This gives him 55% of EO and essential control of the company so he retires from Westar.
The conflict now heats up over at Cliffs company as Carter, Katherine, Cliff, and Wendell JR. all secretly scheme to become the new head of Westar, but Clayton thinks it may be a position he wants as a distraction over the sorrow of Ellies illness. If he feels useful again, he thinks he can be of more help to her. The battle for Westar is on, and as always, JR is pulling the strings to heat up the war between all of them and trying to decide who would be his least threat in the chairmans chair. He decides he will work with Katherine in getting her the seat.
In Claytons bid to get Westar, he needs to remember a deal his company made with EO back in its early days. It was the only time Clayton and Jocks path ever crossed, even though they had still never met and only knew each other by reputation. It was so long ago, Clayton had all but forgotten about it. Once he realized, had the deal gone through, there may be an untapped reserve for him to bring to the Westar table to secure him the nod for Chairman. There is documentation he needs to find of the lost deal. Through talking to Punk, Harv, and Ellie (without revealing what hes up to which can blow up in his face later) we get a flashback story and some early set up to the pre-Dallas days.
The takeover of Westar leads to a fistfight btwn Clayton and McKay and brings Dustys return, thus more conflict for SE and JR. In JRs old age, he really only wants to be back with SE and have her accept him as he is, as hes too old to cheat and finally wants to settle down, having left an angered Anita Smithfield behind (who now has joined forced with the young Wendell).
The half Breed could even return, broke (again) and without money of course. We also learn through the course of things, after Lucy left SF the last time for Europe, she ended up remarrying Mitch and they live happily in Atlanta. We also learn during JRs exile at the end of the series, he tried to restart his fling with Vanessa, but the pull to get back in Oil was too strong for him and she knew she couldnt live that life. He also tried to visit James and play happy grandpa, but that left him unfulfilled as well. The most interesting thing is that his visits to John Ross in this time, kept him in SEs life and thoughts, which caused the breakup of her marrage to Don.
Feel free to poke holes w/ideas to improve. Maybe we can make it a group project, and send it to Larry Hagman, haha (what the fans want). Im more of a broad story type, so someone thats more into the details would be great to flesh this out (that requires the patience I so sorely lack, lol). We can assume Bobby and Pam will fall in love all over again, JR and SE will continue their across the hall rituals and biz dealings, and an ending of Ellies funeral and Claytons leaving SF to let the next generation let the legacy live on with JR & Bobby filling Jocks shoes and Cliff assuming Diggers role. JR offers John Ross a partnership in EO as a peace offering.

jock-I LOVE IT! oooh, especailly the part about charlie working for j.r.! maybe they could even have a fling. ok ok i know he is 112 years old, but come on he is still j.r! i want to know who would play john ross, christopher and charlie? i dont know about the boys- but i think sandra bullock would make a good charlie! it is your story, what would you think about that?
------------------
JR IS GOD!
Thanks so much SE. That makes me feel good you like my ideas. Yes, for the actors playing the younger generation, you'd have to do a good a job at casting as when they cast Hagman, Duffy, etc... (which means a no Sasha zone, haha).
Jock, I loved your ideas! One thing I would like to add which I've said in the past is that I would prefer that Don Lockwood be dead. We all know that Sue Ellen and Don's marriage was only going to last as long as they were both off the show. And they couldn't really bring him back for the reunions so of course they're divorced now. BUT, it was never specifically said that they divorced. True, it would have made it MUCH easier had they said he was dead during the second reunion movie and that's why Sue ellen was living at SF. I just think that a death would be something different for Sue Ellen. All her relationships and marriages have ended badly. When Nick was killed, that was a fantastic storyline but unfortunately by the time the 1988 opening episode aired, it was almost resolved and there was really no remorse about Nick by Sue ellen. I just think having Sue Ellen as a widow would be very good for the Sue Ellen character. This would be the FIRST relationship to end without it being Sue Ellen OR JR's fault. Something uncontrollable. But, alas, it may be too late.
So ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is soo very difficult to plausibly bring back Pamela. I really don't want to see a memory loss reason. But the way you described it isn't bad at all compared to some i've heard!
This would have to be a 5 part miniseries, no ifs ands or buts! Each separate storyline would make a better movie than the entire War of The Ewings fiasco! But all together, wow!

Add my voice to all the compliments, Jock. Your outline, wonderfully filled with intrigue, plotting, and backstabbing, makes me realize how much I miss watching our show!
Keep the ideas coming - it's all we've got.
Thank you all for your comments. I greatly appreciate the feedback. I know the amnesia ia a bit soapy, lol, but like you say, it's tough bringing her back and the Katherine angle gives it a little twist, but let me know how you would get her back. I would love to hear it and this could be a very interesting thread if we all chip in. I think the writers on the last 2 movies need to go back and watch the early episodes as we have so many times and they too would be able to capture what made Dallas great and make a good movie. As for SE being a widow, that would be a good twist and addition to the story. Anyway, thanks again for reading and have a great memorial day holiday everyone :-).

I agree, any 3rd reunion should centralise
on as many original characters as possible.
Go back to the old school.
Forget all of those post '87 losers. It could take place today, but get rid of the losers, especially Carter Mckay, the ultimate symbol that it was really over!
I'd like to see Jeremy and Vaughn Leland come back for some revenge, and what the hell, I'm sure Willie-Joe Garr and Jeb Ames aren't doing anything better nowadays! And
yes, Pam MUST return, with, or preferably
without VP.
Great ideas Jock!!, I'd watch it too

Jock - I think the Pam amnesia/trauma bit works. After all, the whole storyline sending her away from Dallas was so completely unbelievable and outrageous, it deserves an outrageous resolution.

Jock,
I'm sending my applause your way also :-)
You better hurry, do not pass go or collect your $200.00, just run as fast as you can to your local neighborhood post office and send that "Hot" script to CBS/Lorimar productions (that's if they're still in business) and tell them to get busy recruiting all the ol' players. Can I be your agent when you negotiate your fee for your script? :-) It's truly awsome!! This is the kind of closure we need to wrap up the story lines.
Again, thanks all for your kind words. Yes, I must do a "poor man's copyright" in case someone at CBS reads and snatches my idea, lol. Unfortunately, you have to have an agent to submit a scipt or it goes straight to the trash. And of course, you can't get an agent unless you've had something published (typical Hollywood, lol). But at least we here have some resolution :-).
I agree JockEwing, no later characters, and a recast of Pam is fine just as long as we get the character back to wrap up the silly and unbelievable way they took her out. Amnesia is soapy, but at least better than "my face, my face, I must leave." lol.
Anyway, if you like this, I have more writing on the scripts page under the heading "Jock's Landing". It's long and a bit more outrageous than normal Dallas fare (a Dark Shadows flavor just a bit, haha), but if you get bored, have a look. I figured as long as I was killing time writing it, I may as well post it, lol :-)

Jock great story ideas. Just one thing, in Hollywood a poor mans patent will not even work or stand up in a court of law. It must be registered with the WGA. It is cheap. Good luck if you have anything, register it if you are thinking of submitting anything.
[This message has been edited by The_Screenwriter (edited 05-31-2000).]
Thanks for the kind words Screenwriter, and the advise as you are, after all, the Screenwriter so you should know the scoop. I may do that with much of my stuff just for the heck of it, not that I think there will be a 3rd reunion unfortunately, but you never know, and it never hurts to document ideas. As a songwriter as well, I know it can be most important if your tune ever turns up on the next Smashmouth CD, lol.
Aileen, for getting to the scripts forum, at the top of this forum, you will notice there are two "Ultimate Dallas" labels you can click on (one on top of the other in peach or brownish letters depending on your screen on top of the yellow line that says the name of the thread). Click on the top one and that will bring up the list of other forums on this board. From there, you can take a look at the scripts forum where Jock's Landing is as well as a lot of great other stuff from the amazingly creative minds around here :-). Thanks for taking an interest and have a great day, Jock

Jock,
hey, I looked at your webpage, I like it. You know what, if you ever need me to answer a question I can and will. But i need a huge favor from you since you are in the music industry. My favorite group is Van Halen. We all heard the rumors, whats the truth???
Thanks Screenwriter. As for VH, after the Gary (new singer) CD flopped, the record company said you're next CD will have Sammy or Dave if you want to make another, you decide. So they went with Dave and they are in the studio at this time. As for Eddie, he did get treated for mouth cancer, as to whether part of his tounge was removed, we are still waiting to hear him speak so we'll know for sure, lol :-).

Yeah I heard about the rumor about WB demanding Roth or hagar back, didn't know if it was actually said by WB. I also heard about the cancer scare and it was just revealed the other day that he doesn't have cancer, but did have a growth removed. I was hoping for a summer release of their new CD. Also, I am researching the group's actual history to write a screenplay on them. I want it for my private collection and do not tend to have it optioned. But if you hear anything that is going to break anytime soon, please let me know.
That would be a great screenplay, especially if we could get the real story on the two singer's departures, haha.

Well, I always thought that Roth and Hagar were to blame for their departure. I think the finger can be pointed more torwards Eddie. We all know that VH3 wasn't going to last long.
I deffinitely want a cd release of all unpublished songs from past albums.

Jock, you're probably sick of compliments, but your ideas are INSPIRED! Charlie working for JR and mad at Bobby-great!
I'll steal some from others' ideas and state some of my ideas for a reunion:
Pam had amnesia, Katherine had her in a foreign country. Pam finally gets her memory back. She returns to Bobby and Christopher. They understand, and become a family again. As much as I love VP, I'd accept another actress as Pam, for closure.
John Ross loves Pamela Rebecca, but keeps treating her like crap, so she keeps leaving him, then he treats her well and wins her back, it's a vicious cycle (kind of like Sue Ellen and JR). JR flips his lid when John Ross finally marries and brings home "that Barnes girl". they have a stormy marriage.
JR and Sue Ellen get back together, but now it's JR who is the lovesick one, while SE treats him like dirt(payback).
Charlie is the bad girl of Dallas-working for JR, dirty-dealing, etc. She's not a slut, but does occasionally hop into bed. Some poor guy should be hopelessly in love with her. Any ideas?
Ray could be back, as a sort of lovable loser type.
Jenna should come back.
------------------
JR: "Bobby, you're becoming a regular little detective"
Bobby: "Well, JR, that's a handy talent to have with a brother like you"
Pam Ewing, don't you know the male ego never gets sick of compliments, lol. I will take your compliments and swell my head quite nicely, haha.
And Screenwriter, I do think Eddie is mainly to blaim as now 3 singers have left. It's kind of like that saying...if 10 people think you're a jerk, you're probably a jerk, lol :-)
Just thought you'd want to know Screenwriter, David Lee Roth fired his band, so he must feel there is still hope for a VH reunion with Roth and Ellie Van Halen (I mean Eddie, lol---imagine that sack dress rockin' out).

Thanks Jock! Yeah there are quite a few VH and DLR web sites I go to and they reported that a while back. They had interviews with some of the members and they confirmed that Roth was back with VH. Even Hagar had confirmed that when he was on Stern a few months back. That must suck, he didn't even get asked back. Guess it just goes to show you that Roth is the man.
SueEllen35

Screenwriter, I am more of a Sammy fan than a David fan. Sorry! It's just that Sammy's voice is much better. I heard that Sammy left VH because he wanted to start a solo-career nothing to do with Eddie or anyone else. I was really bummbed when he left. They sounded so good together. David just was too much of a clown and wanted center stage. Just my opinion.
About having Jenna come back with Ray. No way! They should be divorced and she still lives in Europe. Bringing her back would only start that boring fight between Pam and her again. Yuck! As far as Charlie - maybe bringing in a nephew of Marilee Stone or one of the Cartel member's family in as a love interest for Charlie. There were not other males that were the same age as Charlie was during the run of Dallas back then. Just think J.R. wanting to try and break up Charlie and her new love interest. Marilee always played a key figure in the Cartel. Interesting?......
SueEllen35
06-07-2000, 08:54 AM
Wait another good idea! Wasn't Jordan Lee married when Dallas first started? He must have had children back then. Could be more of Charlie's age. Just think Jordan was the one member that wanted to stick it to J.R. and Jordan's son all grown up would want to get back at J.R. for all of his "wheelin's and dealin's" against his dad. Any thoughts?
That would be a great idea SE. I like the idea of keeping it all in the 2nd generation mode.
As for VH, Sammy would be the better singer to me, but as far as the energy and chemistry of the band, Dave was the man. I think they chose Dave over Sam becasue the break with Sammy is still pretty fresh so there are still bad feelings, whereas with Dave, his career is such he'd be open (or should be) to doing whatever Eddie says, which seems to be the criteria for getting along with him, lol.

Sue Ellen, oh lord please do not start a war. Sammy was such a screamer. Dave could sing any tune. And he could and still can do it great. I saw Sammy in concert once back in November of 97 in Orlando, Fl. I was right up front. He made his own Margarita, the Waborita and I was the first one he handed it to. He can sing, I will give him that. But he mostly screams like a little girl. But!!!! Where is his career today???? Looking for a label to carry his butt. He has no label. Roth does and so does VH.
SueEllen35

Screenwriter, I tend to disagree about Mr. Roth. Sammy will always be my fav way above and beyond Mr. Roth. Both are very talented, but, like I said Sammy will be my fav. I enjoyed 5150 and F.U.C.K. when they both came out. Unfortunately, when Sammy left, he left way too soon. VH had a lot of potential and still does. It was too bad that he wanted a solo career. I thought he made a bad move myself, but that's another matter. I guess I did start a war! It's just a matter of opinion that's all. LOL!
The_Screenwriter
06-07-2000, 01:02 PM
Keep in mind, it may be war, but only a friendly war. LOL!!! I am 25 and became a fan of Van Halen when the movie "Twister" came out. Hagar was still in the band. I bought all of VH's music right after the movie came out. I became a mega fan. I even liked VH3 with Cherone. I prefer Roth, you prefer Hagar. I still listen to Hagar. But you have to admit, his solo albums now suck!! "Marching to Mars" was good. Hagar left on his own due to EVH, my opinion.
I don't know if this will transmit, but I will say that Jock has the best ideas for a third Dallas movie. I do not believe however that it could all be fit into a two hour movie. I recommend two two-hour movies. Here are my ideas. 1)Jenna comes back with daughter Charlie (played by Lisa Marie Presley). Her and Ray strike up the old magic but are soon interrupted by a returning Donna and Margaret. They finally get back together for the sake of Margaret and their old feelings for each other, and Jenna is told by Ray they will have no future together. An older, wiser scheming Charlie (she was always an angry little girl) wants revenge on Bobby and Ray so she goes into cahoots with J.R. She becomes his modern day "Sly." 2) As for the controversial Pam conclusion: Catherine had spent many years in Dallas in disguise, wearing a blond wig. Pamela's dream was merely a psychic premonition of things to come, with Angelica Nero representing Catherine, and Sue Ellen's explosion at the Ewing Oil building being a premonition of what would happen to Pamela exactly one year later. Katherine was responisible for Pamela's kidnapping after the accident, wrapping up Katharine's reasons for coming back in 1987. She was holding Pamela prisoner in the Canary Islands or somewhere extremely remote, brainwashing the already slightly-crazy Pam. The lady in the Canadian plastic surgery office was a woman hired by Katharine for a lot of money to pose as Pam, fooling even the plastic surgeon. All Katharine ever seemed to have esp. after 1984 was a severe obsession with Bobby and a lot of money. while she may have never believed she would actually get Bobby, ahe suffered from the old "if I can't have you...no one can" syndrome. She even hired the woman to be in a horrible accident. She was also the same woman who claimed she was Jeanne O'Brian. Katharine was smart, and nuts. Bobby wants confirmation of Pam's death so he locates her in the Canary islands. He is interrupted by Katharine, and Katharine tries to save face and tell Pam Bobby waited 12 years to find her, and that he is just tricking her for some reason. With that, Pamela beats Katharine very bad for everything she has done, and Katharine is arrested by police. Pam and Bobby return to Southfork, and although Pam is a little crazy, what else is new?, they get reremarried, causing everyone to be happy except-JR. 3)Later in the 1st installment, Clayton sends word that Ellie has died, causing extreme anguish in the family. As a result, Lucy, Gary, and Valene return. Gary and Val are still married, but Lucy is not very happy with anyone in the family. She has, in fact developed a nice alcohol addiction, causing her to be a tough witch to anyone who tries to get on her. The subplot of Lucy's wild and sick new lifestyle is important. What else could have possibly happened to Lucy? How boring would that be to have her be in Atlanta again, married to Mitch again. Even sweet little Charlene isn't that boring. 4)O.K., as for business, J.R. is obsessed with merging Westar and Ewing Oil into the biggest company in the world. It ends up the only person who can help him is Cliff Barnes because he has the resources. J.R. plays along, for a time, leading Cliff to believe that would be the best idea. Cliff and J.R wage a war against Sue Ellen and Bobby, and eventually J.R. wins, and then screws over Cliff. 5) In the interest of peace during the funeral, everyone is pleasent to each other, until the reception. Right before the funeral, Bobby and Pam receive word that Katharine has escaped. It migt also be interesting to secretly have Wes Parmalee show up in private to say goodbye to Ellie. In grand Dallas style, there is much fighting at the reception, until finally Katharine shows up to kill Bobby and accidentally shoots J.R. She is carted off. Cut to 2 weeks later, and the only people still at Southfork are Lucy, Bobby, Pam, Sue Ellen, JohnRoss, and Christopher. In the will, J.R. leaves everything he has to JohnRoss, with a bone being thrown to James, his grandchild, and Cally's son. JohnRoss now owns Ewing Oil. His first move is to fire Sue Ellen and Bobby, cutting them off from any contact with the company. Bobby gets angry, but JohnRoss doesn't care, he only cares about is his company. Sue Ellen understands, and Christopher and Bobby spend the rest of their days ranching Southfork, with Pamela there everyday when they come home. (Christopher eventually forgives Pam.)Lucy starts her own record company, sells all her art galleries, and becomes the leading record producer in the midwest. Her first contract goes to: Charlie Wade, played by....Lisa Marie! Lucy also gives Ray a half a million dollars to build a ranch so he won't have to take from Donna, who live once again in the old Carter McKay house. Cliff finds Afton and they move to Costa Rica. Katharine is sentenced to death for the murder of J.R Ewing. (This is Texas) And they all live happily ever after, until Pam wakes up!

"PAN-A-MA! PAN-A-MA"!
"Might as well jump! JUMP! Just go ahead and jump! 1984 is my all time favorite album, that was also the year I graduated H.S. :-)
I like the idea of Charlie's father being Gary. He could of jumped Jenna in the hay loft during one of his drunken stupors while there was a bbq going on. This would be a good reason to bring back Lucy to cat fight with Charlie over the inheritance. Instead of Lucy's 5% she now has to share it which gives her 2.5% and we all know Lucy ain't gonna settle for that. Just out of curiousity how many men has Jenna slept with?
Sanoahwolf,
Great idea. That would be good to get a Lucy - Charlie battle.
As for Sammy, lol, I saw him on TV doing a concert at the Hard rock (solo, post VH) and he was hitting a good amount of flat notes. Too much Tequila I guess (he ownes a Teq company). :-). Have a great weekend all.
