ALL Irish people, e-mail the following complaining about RTE's style of branding. Nobody could find their methods positive. People's heads go missing behind them and the artistic integrity of the programme makers is being destroyed. RTE are an absolute disgrace.

Below is the latest message I sent:
Dear sir or madam,
I am curious to know when RTE is going to do something with those extremely annoying on screen "bugs" / "dogs" / "logos". I accept the fact you have a reason for them but there is no reason to impinge them so much on the Irish licence payers. There is an entire space above these "bugs" for them to be pushed back into and they could also be reduced in size. This form of branding used by RTE is not used by any other channel, which broadcasts movies and hour long TV shows. The longer the show the more irritating these "bugs" become.
Last year RTE made them translucent but that seems to only have increased the size of the branding and now peoples heads are going missing behind them during a broadcast. This is taking away from the artistic integrity of the programme maker. Why is it that RTE has to be so irritatingly different than any other channel on the west coast of Europe?.
I look forward to a response.
