I too took a course on ethics, Business Ethics 347, the professor was a jerk, an old guy with a cane, who was an extreme liberal who never lectured but instead talked about current events. A week before the test, he would tell us the exact pages to study, his reason was to make our study easy because he did not want us to kill ourselves like lots of pressured college kids do. and everyone would ace the test. He had two attendance sheets. One was the regular roster that went around class to sign since it was a small class, then another one was the late sign in sheet that if you were late he made you sign after humiliating you in front of the whole class for oversleeping.

I recently found out that the guy made pass at female students. I remember doing extremely well in his class and asked him if I could TA (teaching assistant) for him the following semester and he refused. I found out that he only allows girls to his be TA’s. One of the girl who took the class with me told me about how he used to invite her for coffee drink, tell how beautiful she was and gave her his phone number. She then called him and it was his wife who had the sweetest voice ever. She felt bad for his wife, if only she knew that her husband was making passes at female students and then teach about ETHICS. How ethical was that? The guy was just weird, and dirty too.

Congrats Gravy, lucky you, your done with school and im about to kill myself, lol, i had one final today, and I got a B in the class because he posted the grades this afternoon, it was a fun class, Sociology and Deviance, you should take that class, lol. Anyways, i have a final in experimental Psych. tomorrow which the study guide is 76 pages, and cumulative, im dying here with a massive headache, and i have a two finals wed. and my last on thurs. did i mention i need to get a 90% on two of them which means i can only miss 5 in order to get a B. Lucy Ewing, I remember those final weeks, where you would pull out sleepless nights studying over 200 pages of reading.

I took an introductory course on psy and the prof said that she was going to make everything as hard as she can and only 20% or so of the class would pass. Her tests were mad hard and if it wasn't for the big curve I would have failed.

i was a history major and a lot of the readings were primary sources written by old historians in the 18th and 17th century. They were long with weird english and you would spend hours reading those excerpts.

However, the history department had a policy, every prof must give out a review sheet to students. Basically it was made up of 100 definitions and 6 possible essay questions. then, in the exam, the prof would take about 10 of the list of definitions and ask you to choose 6 and 4 of the list of essay and ask you to do 2.

other classes you would be studying 5-8 chapters, 30 pages each.

I graduated last year but already miss those good ole days, the school library would be open 24 hours for finals and everyone would be in groups studying and its a nice feeling http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Other tips, study the day or the day before the final, you want to have everything in your mind fresh just before you take the final, then take the stupid finals and release your mind with the useless infos and then have a nice summer. Never study ahead because you tend to forget. Only do this for finals cause you never gonna need the stuff again.

During the semester, take the opposite approach never be behind the syllabus, always read as scheduled, and when a midterm comes, it makes it easier to study because you've seen the materials already.

Yes, Chris....there are a lot of people my age and older.
The Textile mills closed and they were the backbone of our economy here......so a lot of older people are going back to school.

Well, i have been to a drive in movie, but in cali, its a drive by shooting movie, they closed most of them down because of gangs, but here is my embarrassing story that i will share with all of you......you might need a laugh
When I was 12, we went to this drive in in Santa Cruz (my family) to see Twister, anyways when i went to use the restroom i missed and peed all over my self,and had to sit in it for two hrs. i still get made fun of, dont ask how i missed, but i did. theres my embarrassing story for the day.

i have a weird story about public Bathroom Experience.

It's a true story and don't be put off by the contents, why should you? we all go to the bathroom to do the nasty at some point in the day.

it was during the summer of 01, and my stomach was playing tricks, i was in the city and had no choice but to run to the Macy's department store and went to the men's room, I was started to release myself but there was this guy with a hispanic accent in the bathroom next to me who kept moaning so I figured out that he was jerking around then he started moaning louder and kept saying "show me your thing, show me your thing". At first I made no connection to me but then I realize that this psycho was talking to me. I began to be a little scared and he would not stop. I got out and began washing my hands and he got out his head out of his bathroom and from the mirror could see him staring at me, luckily it was crowded so i left but kept turning back and he kept looking at me. I was really scared and thank God there were people in the bathroom. I am more cautious about using restrooms in public and make my needs before leaving the house.

Honestly, sexual attacks don't really scare me it's the STDS i am more afraid of, and i doubt those predators ever carry condoms it's less easy to deal with things like Rape and sexual harrasment than to deal with hiv/Aids
