Well...I don't like it much. Its alright, but nothing near special. I don't see myself going out of the way to look at it. I saw the first episode, and understood perfectly what was going on, but the storylines sucked. MJ is a former hooker? Oh wow, I'm shakin in my boots, and Linda Dano is scary with the weird woman of the 80s hair! Rachel is also very scary looking. She may be the only reason I keep watching. http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
I wish they would have started in the 60s...

I liked it. I didn't really get into it until the Wednesday or Thursday's episode. I like the characters and the writing.
I thought Adam would be more understanding when MJ told him - but then again, it is the day of his wedding to her so *Shrug*.
Linda Dano's hairstyle IS scary. She must be dying if she's watching the repeats.
They can't start in the '60s because the show's archive of episodes starts in 1979. There are very few shows that survive from 1964-1979, and most of them are kinescopes. I have no idea why they didn't start in 1979, but I guess it's because the show was in a 90 minute form in that year. The 1987 start may also have something to do with the fact that Another World was in a creative slump in the early '80s, at least that's what I've read.
I'm just happy they're rerunning a classic soap. The soaps were far better in the '60s/'70s/'80s. I hope they add The Edge of Night or Santa Barbara sometime soon, since those have big followings. And Dallas, too. I've never seen Dallas but I would love to see it.

I LOVE IT. The acting is way better than the crap we see on today's soaps. The storylines are very character driven which is something we don't see in daytime anymore. It's real acting, real drama and very theatrical....

Anyone still watching? I watch every now and then but I still can't get into it. I hope they bring Santa Barbara, Generations, The City or Peyton Place.
