hi everyone. i am new to this forum.
I was just wondering who out there enjoys ABC soaps-AMC, OLTL and GH?
I am interested in talking with others and getting opinions on these great daytime dramas since real-life is a soap opera...

I watch Y&R, GL, DOOL, and the three ABC soaps.

Here's what I think of ABCDaytime right now:

AMC - It has some good things going on, particularly the Reggie/Danielle/Lily/Jackson storyline. Otherwise all I see is them ruining my favorite characters with this baby storyline. They've ruined Babe and Krystal and soon will ruin David and they've ruined Kendall/Ryan/Greenlee. Could they be bigger losers? And Liza too. She's too old to be acting so childish over a man who doesn't want her. Poor Marcy Walker, she deserves a better storyline and waredrobe.

OLTL - EXCELLENT! I love it! The Santi's storyline is really good! I'm so excited to learn that Carlotta is Adrianna's aunt now! Its really interesting and the twists keep coming in those story. I'm also LOVING nuAdrianna. Antonio's stripping storyline is kinda funny and I really like Riley/Jenn. They're both fighting so many demons which I love to watch.

Viki has been great as well, Erika Slezak better win that Emmy next year or she'll be robbed. Heather Tom will also be a strong contender. Everything aboout Kelly is perfect. I'm also loving her with Todd and David! They light up the screen together. Travis and Starr are also the next supercouple of daytime! <3

GH - Ugh! I've not missed one episode since the PC Hotel fire in Febuary and I THOUGHT the show was improving, but recently they've gone back to giving the HORRIBLE Sonny ALL the airtime and now they're doing the same old recycled storyline with Sam being pregnant and Jason posing as the father! And then I hear something bad is going to happen to same and once that happens I'll be finished. They have no respect for women on this show, and the mob is soooo cliched. Its does much better on Guiding Light.

Even though Sonny is evil to women, he is so sexy and the worse treats them the sexier he is!!!!!!!!!!!

What have they done with the Lila Quartermaine character now that Anna Lee has passed away ???

Hopefully they won't recast the way they did with Edward, with the actor being younger than the actor who plays Alan Q. I guess they figure they can't get along without Eddie.

I read in Soap Opera Digest that they are going to have a funderal for Lila Quatermaine on air shortly..

Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe), Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins), Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio), Peter Hansen (Lee Baldwin) and Susan Brown (Gail A. Baldwin) are all returning.

It'll really be good to see Lucy back. Hopefully Lynn (as usual) will blow them away as usual and they can bring her back permenantly.

Yes, Lila's funeral will cover at least two episodes.

WHat do you think of OLTL's new opening? I LOVE it! The theme is hot too! I dunno I just love the whole design and the pics are good too!

i love the OLTL new opening as well. It is so cool. I love how they have all the characters in motion with the music --it was time for a change.. Hey the show is getting really good lately.. I am glad they killed off the FBI agent-I didn't like her--I like Natalie ---
