Flamingo RD

On Monday, September 29, Goodlife TV Network will be airing the first season finale of "Flamingo Road," an episode that originally aired on April 2, 1981. Here's a recap, episode by episode, of what has happened on the first season of "Flamingo Road," the 1981-1982 primetime soap that has been airing all summer long on Goodlife...
Fielding 'Field' Carlyle, deputy and fiance of rich bitch Constance Weldon, begins to have an affair with Lane Ballou, a stranded circus singer. After Titus Semple, sheriff of Truro, Florida, the center of the action, finds out, he tries his best to keep them apart, claming that Field needs a rich respected wife to make it as a Senator. After Constance and Field are married, Constance starts to get jealous feelings around Lane, and continously confronts Field about his supposedly former affair with Lane. Constance confronts Lane at the tennis courts, almost starting a bitchfight on the court. After Field wins the Senatorial election, he tells Constance that he plans to end their marriage. Lane, meanwhile, discovers that some unfinished business of hers might get her murdered, and admits to Sam Curtis, a good friend and regular visiter to Lute-Mae Sanders' bar/whorehouse, where Lane lives and works, that she is in hiding in Truro because of the unfinished business. They run away with each other and vacation in Miami, leaving everyone else in Truro believing that they eloped.
That's a brief summary of the first 11 episodes, but I left out a lot of details. The main story playing out right now is the Constance/Lane/Field/Sam story, but when season number 2 comes in four weeks, it will have more complex plotlines. I can hardly wait! If you have the Goodlife channel, MAKE SURE to watch this show every Monday @ 10:00pm ET...
If the below picture doesn't work, to hell with it. If it does, hurray
