Read in a magazine today that "Port Charles" has been cancelled and will end airing episodes in October. They never had good or decent ratings and it finally caught up with them.

No word in the article about any of the actors futures, would imagine Lucy Coe, long time GH alumni, would be offered her job back on GH.

Yeah, the news frst broke like 2 weeks ago. Very sad I must say. They were just getting back on track. The current and final arc is very good and refreshing.

Lynn Herring is actually not looking to join the cast of GH, she's being looked at for a role on Y&R. Chris, Allison and Jack are the only PC characters being looked at to move ahead at the moment.

I think PC should have been moved to a different timeslot. Its up against B&B the second highest rated soap, and in some cities it gets aired in a lousy late-night slot.

I really wish they would have thought it over. PC will truly be missed. Also, they won't be replacing PC with a new soap. http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Actually I heard that GH does NOT want any PC characters as they have enough they are not using. I also heard that Lynn Herring doesn't really want to return to GH b/c she doesn't see a spot for Lucy anymore BUT that ABC may force GH to bring Lucy over. But I heard Kevin is done b/c the actor wants to direct although he apparently has a standing offer over at AMC.

I think Lucy could come back b/c she has relationships with Scott, Luke, Sonny, Alan, Bobbie, and Mac.

I agree that GH has tooo many, far to many characters that do nothing. The president of ABC Daytime said he will work to get the PC cast worked into the rest of the Daytime lineup. I don't know if he meant with their current characters, or as new characters. As for the Chris, Allison, and Jack thing moving to GH, I think it would be a bad idea, because none of them would fit on the show. I think Jamal and Imani could move on, and Karen as well. Is Tracy Quartermaine still on GH? Saw her several weeks ago when Lila told her to leave, then flipping around a few weeks later, saw her with her son.

Is she still around? The Sunday paper recaps don't mention her.

She returned for one week and hasn't been back since. http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif It was the first time I'd seen her and I liked her a lot. Her son is great though.
