Has anyone else heard news on this? Starting June 2 E! entertainment television channel will start airing Melrose Place again. They will also keep them of Style too since Style is owned by E!. I guess they are trying to promote Melrose again because of the True Hollywood Story they will be airing this Summer. I'm very happy now because I wasn't able to get Style but I do have E! and now I can catch the reruns! http://www.click-smilie.de/sammlung/ernaehrung/ernaehrung004.gif

Well, this is interesting! Now at least I'll be able to catch the first half of season one through the E! repeats (they are starting at the begining in June while the style reruns will continue as normal). It's about time!! E! sat on their MP syndication rights for a looooong time before they finally put the show back on! I'm so happy, because now after summer is over, I'll be able to catch MP on E! back in college!

MP RULES!

Like style, E! will not be airing the Pilot either. That kind of stinks. They have been editing the heck out of the episodes too (I'm a first timer through most of this show, but you can really tell). Oh well, at least it's back!!! Yeah!!!!

E! will air Melrose Place pilot. years ago, they had a successful two year run on syndication on E! and it did air the pilots everytime. Don't worry...

It's listed on tvguide.com's grids as being on both US E! Network and US Style. I'm not sure about the UK's version of either channel.

I've checked every channel listing avaliable, and E! (like style) will NOT be airing the "Melrose Place" pilot. They will begin with the second episode of the series. The show will air at 8AM and 10AM (Central time) M-F. The show that airs at 10AM will be rerun the following day at 8AM. I think this is rather odd that E! is putting MP up against itself (style offers a morning run at 10AM as well).

it's a shame!!!, the pilot is really good.

Also why not put it in an afternoon slot or in the evening like they used too.

Anyway, I won't complain I am happy about it....

Kimberley before blowing up the complex: It's not what it looks like....IT'S WORSE

Sydney: Temptation is like Dandruff, you don't always know it's there but it's there.

I taped the episode this morning (and have yet to watch it) but I noticed a "Style on E!" logo in the bottom of the screen. Does this mean E! is just playing the series for a limited run to promote it's sister station Style (like how some pay channels like HBO open up for free to all TV users to attract more subscribers)? I hope that E!'s intention is to have MP on all the time, and not just for a month or so to promote it's sister station.

I'll try to find out more....

I saw that too so it must mean that the only reason they are airing it on E! is to promote Style. I am so mad right now because I don't have Style and I thought E! was going to air the episodes too! I checked TVGuide.com and the schedule of episodes ends in two weeks. Hey BretEwing, is there anyway I could buy some copies from you of Melrose? I would pay for the tape, postage and your time. Let me know if your interested. Thanks!

don't worry it will continue to air on E!, they're just using the show to promote Style.

TV Guide only has schedule for up to two weeks in advance.

If they were airing the show on a short-term basis, they would not have aired the early episodes, they would try to air the best of MP IMO

What a twist of fate! You all have SoapNet but I don't, but I have style! I'm not going to try to gloat, but the episodes style are showing right now (season two) are better than the ones E! are showing right now, imo. Just so you'll know where style is at, today they are showing the episode called "Duet for One." I've heard some great things about the episode where Kimberly comes back to her and Michael's house after everyone thinks she has died, and I can't wait for that one to come up. A couple of days ago, I was at TVGuide.com, and I was looking and it looks like MP won't be airing next week on style. I hope that's not true...it is TVGuide.com so they could be wrong...
