I think it would of been better if Jean had got Benski to bug Greg's corporate office at the Galveston Industries building instead of his office at the Sumner ranch. You haven't seen Greg go to the office for a while but I'd think he'd do his most important work there. I think it'd be easier for Ben to bug the corporate office as Greg would have to take a lunchbreak sometime and then it would just be Greg's secretary to get past. Ben could pretend he worked at the company and say he had some important papers to put on Greg's desk. The secretary never seemed to be at her desk most of the time anyway. Carlos would never usually allow a guest into Mr Sumner's private quarters while he was out. Why was Ben fumbling around to such a degree, as if he had never used a computer before. He used one all the time in his old job. Greg's dingy computer room hardly looked befitting for a person of his vast wealth. You can tell the programme is having budget problems.

A few episodes ago they used Greg and Laura's bedroom as the set for Russell Winston's study. They replaced the bed with a desk but you could tell it was the same room because of the door and the wooden headboard attached to the wall.

Perhaps this does not satisfactorily answer your question, but I thought the reason they had Ben bug Greg's home office was so that we could see Greg's humorous daydreams about who could have planted the bug (once he found out it was there). Perhaps they haven't gotten to that yet, so I won't spoil it. Anyway, putting the bug in the home office helped limit the number of suspects (and help Greg figure it all out quicker).

I can see now how what happened was best for script reasons and I did find Greg's daydreams funny, I just thought it would of been more realistic to bug the corporate office. My favourite part of the scene was when Greg actually entertained the thought that it could of been Laura, before bursting out laughing.
