One really annoying thing about Knots is the way the producers kept bringing in shadey underworld villians who get mixed up with the regular cast. It was like the writers constantly ran out of ideas. The ugly hoods who menaced Knots Landing Motors and killed Sid, the awful Mark StClair and the unbelievable Jean Hackney were all so far-fetched and really not needed one bit.
The best bits of the series were episodes concentrating on regular characters in more socially relevant situations, like Olivia's drug problems or Laura's death. These storylines work so much better than all the other nonsense involving crooked businessmen and contract killers.
What do other fans think?
