The New Neighbours

Considering that it was one of Laura's dying wishes that Karen find a "nice family who will get on with everyone" to buy her old house, I think Karen really messed up! I mean the chances of finding a family on the Witness Protection Program must be a million to one! Still the I guess the Knots' producers thought it would make a great storyline. Boy, were they Wrong!

While their introductory story was a bit overdone, I think the Williams family was a great addition to the cast that never lived up to its potential. Knots Landing needed to base more stories in the actual cul-de-sac. I especially liked Patricia Williams and her portrayer, Lynne Moody, because she managed to take her character to a higher level than "supporting" despite very rarely getting to play a leading plot.
Well-drawn characters appeal to me a lot more than flashy storylines (thus my love of KL in general), but my only fault to the producers was never allowing the Williamses to become as equal in the cul-de-sac as other couples. Plotlines most of you will see in the future reflect, in my opinion, an unwillingness on the part of the producers to support their (for lack of a better word) integration into the community.

Well as I have never seen this before, I am not really sure what they are like, but here are my first impressions.

Considering the Williams family have been on Knots now for 9 episodes now, they haven't done very much of anything, they haven't had one storyline yet, well that is if you don't call ripping a sofa to shreads a storyline, lol. I understand that as the show goes on they will get storylines, but they haven't so far.

As for Frank, he is totally nuts, Julie is being deprived of her childhood, lol, as for Patricia, she seems to be the normalest of the lot of them.

Does any one know what ever became of the young lady who played Julia? She was very attractive for a young adult, I figured she was a model!
As for the new nieghbors....they are a great family, but the dad does get a little overwelming at times!

She hasn't been in very much since Knots Landing, from what I can find it is actually only two things, 'BraceFace Brandy' which was this year, and The young and the Restless which was this year also. She has done a few guest appearances aswel. I can't find any information as to whether or not she was a model.

BTW way her name is Kent Masters King.
