Who was the best husband for Val?

Danny, well i will leave that up to you because I haven't seen him yet but what I have heard about him is not that good.

Absolutely Gary, because they were soulmates. True he might not have treated her that good all the time, but I still believe he was the best for Val simply because she loved him the most! :)

Ben was in my opinion boring and Danny I can't tell as I haven't seen their romance yet...

I voted for Gary -- for obvious reasons but in some ways, Ben was a good husband, as well.

For starters, he provided her with a much needed sense of no drama when they first met; she had just divorced Gary; "Capricorn Crude" was a best seller; and she was finally coming into her own.

However, once Val and Ben married, he turned into a spineless jerk and put her through the same crap that Gary had.

I would have loved it if they had kept Jeff Munson on the show. Now that was one man who was good influcence on Val. I could see Jeff and Valene becoming the show's center and giving Mack and Karen a run for their money.

Ben, hands down. More stable and better looking than Garee.
If he strayed it was Garee & Poor Val's fault. He was a stalwart and he did good for her... even if sometimes he was treated as a dupe by the writers.
