I can think of six characters who never lived anywhere BUT the cul-de-sac during their tenure with the show. These are characters who appeared in the opening credits (contract players). One is easy, but the others.....

Yes, Mack lived in an apartment prior to marrying Karen. I guess Lilimae would make seven, since I had originally counted her early stint as a bag lady (no home) against her being a cul-de-sac staple. I'll give you Lilimae, so now the other six?
