Does anyone remember this film, it had Ted Shackleford, and Teri Austin in a sort of role reversal thing from their parts in KL. Ted was Teri's ex hubby who used to be violent towards her, she moves into hiding and meets this gorgeous stranger, Ted catches up with her and beats her.

It was just a naff TV film but watchable enough.

This must have been done when they were an off-screen couple. I still don't remember the film, but I do recall his saying he wanted to do projects during his hiatus (spring/summer) that allowed him to play characters totally opposite of Gary Ewing.

Actually, I think they *all* said that....:-)

It was round about 1989/90, it was filmed, was that the time that he and Teri Austin were together. I cant believe she went out with him. http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Actually, it was quite unpleasant at the time, because he left his wife of 20+ years to "shack up" with Austin, only to break it off with her within a year. The tabloids (who followed the nighttime soap actors around closely back then) really lambasted him over his decision.

As for other couples, I can't recall any off hand, but they may have slipped my mind.

The film in question is a 1988 TV movie called "Rescue Me".

I don't know any more about it than that I'm afraid.

Ted Shackelford married his first wife Janis Leverenz in 1976 and after breaking up with Teri Austin married Annetter Wolf in 1993, who he is still married to, I think.
