Someone else from Karen's past comes to town in this episode. Her name is Victoria Hill, a hip fashion designer. She blows into Knots Landing hoping that our guiding light Karen would move to New York. If she did move to New York, there would be no moral stability and the residents would go absolutely off the wall. (Damn, Sid's was half of that stability and now he's dead! Isn't that enough?) Karen decides to stay and see over the residents for the next ten years. Diana's disappointed about not going to New York, but don't worry, she'll move there soon.
While Karen's getting back together with her old friend, a marriage is falling apart. Well, It finally happened. It took nearly twenty-eight episodes but it has happened. LAURA'S LEAVING RICHARD! LAURA'S LEAVING RICHARD! She finally tells him that enough is enough and that she can't stand living with Richard anymore. I'm not one bit surprised at this) She sleeps with old reliable Scooter Warren and makes it definite. But what's this?
