Changing Opening Titles

In the UK we are coming to the end of Season Eight. As Season Nine has a completely different opening theme tune, do we see an all new set of opening and end titles.?.

I agree about Laura and Lilliemae, they ahould never have been dropped. They are both brilliant characters and their acting abilities are brilliant.

Am I right by thinking that Julie Harris never appears again, not even in the re-union movie.?.

You're right Ben. Julie Harris doesn't appear again.
And even the tape Laura had left to Meg was someone else's voice when played on the reunion.

Yeah, whassup with that? [g] Why did they have to put in a fake voice for the Laura video? I was appalled!

To be honest, Julie Harris is still such a presence in Broadway theater that she probably didn't have time to re-appear on KL; I was disappointed, but I wasn't really surprised.

When I first saw the new openening for the fall of 1987, I thought it was a joke. They tried to make it look all fancy with the art and the "Young and the restless" captioned graphics. I preferred the squares they had everyone in.

It's ironic that someone compared the opening used to that of "The Yound & The Restless". The print used in the back ground is by artist Sandy D'vore, who by the way, desiged the opening for "Y&R".
