Carmen the Cook

Any way to get through to the producers and see if Carmen the cook can be renamed Theresa? That way she'll have ties to the old show, and won't be rewriting history, as some have been concerned about. It's not a hard thing to do. They did it on "90210" with Silver. She wasn't originally written as Kelly & David's sister, but through a quick rewrite, it was done.

All they'd have to do here would be cut and paste Theresa over Carmen. Simple.

I agree that it seems strange not to catch this. Of course, one could always presume that as we did sometime see other Ewing servants, there very well could have been a Carmen the cook who we never saw but was there helping Theresa. If the daughter Elena is going to be invented, I suppose it doesn't matter so much if Carmen is also invented. Of course using Charlie or Pamela Rebecca in the love interest roles might have made more sense anyway, but that would have really required utilizing the history of the show instead of just the basic building blocks of it.
