Hi Everyone,
I am just saying that in today's mediated society Dallas fans can never expect to stay unspoiled, frequent this board and wait for international tv-channels to broadcast the new episodes.
One of the main things I loved about the original show was that I saw it completely unspoiled...it was something exciting about not knowing what was going to happen and I used to get a chill run down my spine when watching the show. I never forget the way I felt when April was kidnapped and later murdered. It was a complete shock which could have been completely spoiled if I had read spoilers...
I saw the episode several years after the original broadcasting (I think about 2-3 years later) and was still unspoiled. But that was Pre-Internet...
I live in Sweden and I want to be able to watch the new show unspoiled too. But I don't wanna give up my membership of this community. So what I am asking for is that the network (TNT) and producers of the new Dallas keeps up with the time and makes available a downloadable version of the new episodes within 24 hours of the original US broadcast. :)That way we International fans can download the show and burn it onto DVD and watch on our tv screens and keep up with the fans in the US. I think most of us would be willing to pay a small fee (in between 1-5 dollars/episode) to be able to get a legal downloadable version. So I think if the producers does this you can earn more money on International fans...I don't think there will be any money lost on International sales to tv channels either as this is just for the die-hard fans. The regular viewers who won't visit the board won't be spoiled and will still watch it on tv.
So is something like this at all possible?
I think it would be much preferred for a legal version instead of pushing fans into taking illegal downloading actions to keep up with the new show...
