Vincent and Amy

I've just finished the Van Gogh episode... it was alright, an interesting twist on the old "Doctor meets famous person" storyline... and the only thing I can think is how incredibly dumb the Amy/Vincent love story angle was. I mean, it came out of nowhere... they flirt, they don't talk for about 45 minutes and suddenly they seem smitten with each other. And even though Amy rebuffs his advances, it still seemed rather clear to me that she reciprocated his feelings.

Really some awful plotting.
