MJ's offspring at the Grammy Awards, 2010

Did anybody see MJ's "kids" on the Grammy Awards last night. The son is cute as a button and seems like he might be headed towards becoming well-spoken some day --- whoever "daddy" really is, naturally.

They should really be referred to as MJ's adopted kids. They have no biological connection to him at all....

I saw them. :) I was surprised that the oldest boy held such a good speach. He did it really well for his age and even managed to thank their father's fans for all the support. Aww!

The little girl still seems to long for her daddy very much. :(

My gut feeling tells me we haven't seen the last of these kids. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they will end up folllowing in their father's footsteps... ;)

I don't believe that they are adopted and even if they were what does it matter?
They are still his kids either way and their loss is much greater than anyone elses.

Agreed. Adopted kids are not less than biological kids, Sonya! They lost their father, they don't feel anything different to other kids that lose a parent just because of their biological make up.

True but I've seen pictures of other kids who has an african father and a white mother and sometimes the kids ends up white!
So although that is not common it is really possible.

Besides I think it's been established that the oldest boy Prince Michael is suffering from vitilago as well, so that may have affected his skin tone. And as for little Paris eye color, Michael's father has apparently greenish eyes so it is also possible for Michael's kids to have another eye color than brown.

Then no matter what the truth is, I think it's quite tacky of the press to speculate on whether they are Michael's biological kids or not. I mean they are just kids and they have recently lost their father and is going through enough as it is without having to question their identity!

I'm not saying that they are "lesser" children. Adopted children have no less value....what I'm saying is that there has been so many people speculating about the parantage of the children....just keeping it real...

....And noting that they are basically adopted shouldn't be interpreted as assigning a lesser status....

They are his children, as they were born while he was married to the birth mother Debbie Rowe...but at least one british actor said after MJ's death that he was approached by MJ to be a sperm donor to Debbie.....

Makes no difference...they are his kids, there is no need to label them as "adopted" or otherwise.

I think his kids are adorable, and pretty well adjusted. I feel bad for them, all this mess must be so confusing. They lost Michael, and it was obvious they loved him. I hope they are happy with the Mother. I hope Joe doesn't try and make them into Junior Michaels.. I really don't like Michael's Dad.
