Ive recently seen an episode with Bobby and Sue Ellen after she shot JR and she was asking Bobby if he knew where JR has hiding John Ross because she wanted him back. Bobby said he didnt know and that even if he did know he wouldnt tell because JR was his brother and she could have killed him when she shot him after Nicholas was pushed from the balcony.
I understand that JR is Bobbys brother and she almost killed him but back when JR was shot by Kristin and everybody believed Sue Ellen had shot JR it was Bobby that convinced the family she should be able to see John Ross, I know this is one of the later seasons but I always thought Bobby and Sue Ellen were friends and I dont see why they didnt seem very nice as though they were friends, can anyone explain this?

Perhaps at this later stage Bobby realised that Sue Ellen would have tried to kill JR.

I think Bobby was her one true friend , who she could always depend on. I think at that time, he probably thought enough is enough. JR and Sue Ellen were drawn together like glue, I'm sure Bobby wanted to shake her and make her realize, he will never change. He probably had enough of their drama. I think he wanted to help her, but he stood by JR at that point..

Bobby realized that Sue Ellen could've killed JR and she could've JR should've just pressed charges and had her go to jail for shooting him.

well, i think bobby let sue ellen down...ok, jr is his brother and off course, he was upset that she had shot him but on the other hand, he could have showed more compassion with sue ellen

I agree Dazzle, Bobby did let her down.. I was surprised at how cold Bobby was. I still think he was fed up, with Sue Ellen and JR and their torrid relationship.

I love Bobby he's one of my favourites, BUT at times his morals can be all over the place and he can be extremely fickle and judgemental. Look at when he was all over Holly Harwood after how she behaved. I wish someone would slap him sometimes. At least with JR you knew where you stood.

I agree with you Sarah! Bobby may be the good soul of DALLAS but he is too easy to manipulate where morals are concerned. Bobby always occupied the moral high ground on Dallas but I can't ignore his lack of judgement in terms of putting up with JRs lies all these years and saying to Sue Ellen, Sorry I can't help you, when she tries to get her son back (again)...
