After my favorite AFC/hometown team lost earlier in the day, I was routing for a Manning vs. Favre Superbowl, as CBS probably secretly was for possible record tv ratings.

As in the past two seasons though, Favre ended his and his teams year, with costly interceptions. Did find it hilarious the beating he took. OUCH !!!

Not a big fan of Peyton, even though he is EXTREMELY talented and one of the best QB's ever, but something about him, just kind of irks me. More of a Tom Brady fan !!! :)

Love my football, don't have a favorite team, usually route for cutest quarterback guy.

This year it's a tough one. Drew Brees, besides having that thing on his right side of face that looks like a leech, always looks greasy and dirty.

Peyton is cute, but seems geeky and like the rest of the Mannings, seems to be in love with himself. He isn't anywhere near the sexiness of Tony Romo and especially Tom Brady, who is delicious.

I guess I'll go with Saints, everyone says they deserve it after Katrina.

Some words on the half time show... while I enjoyed it and it far exceeded my expectations, they need to stop picking these old acts for the show. When reading reviews of the show, the comments on the performance are buried under 100 comments of "Ew, who are these old dudes with the CSI songs? Why not get Gaga!". The NFL, 6 years on from Nipplegate, needs to realize that you can be safe and contemporary at the same time; nobody would bitch if Arcade Fire (who the NFL used to perfection in their ads) or Muse played. In fact, I doubt anyone would bitch if they just had a light show.

What I really miss is the Beavis and Butthead Bowl they used to put on at halftime on MTV during the Super Bowl..

The Saints victory parade was last night here in New Orleans. OMG! Over 800,000 fans came out to see it. It was crazy fun. And Mardi Gras is next week! Hooray!

Not really. Puzzled how so many think this is that big of an upset, when the Saints overall played better than the Colts this year, as well as Brees having a better year, statistically than Manning.

Also sick of hearing the false claim that if Manning would have won the game, he'd be better than Joe Montana, even with Mannings 9-8 playoff record, which is now 9-9.

GREAT game though, and good commercials.

The Jay, Oprah, Dave commercial had to be the biggest surprise.

The game also slightly passed MASH to become the most watched tv show in American tv history, with over 106 million tuning in.

Did kind of puzzle me when many of the "experts" said the Colts would win easily, even after the Saints played just as good as the Colts during the season. But, that's why they play the game !!! :)

wow, that's a lot of people. Especially since it's about 300,000 more than have EVER lived in the city at one given time.
