Card Warehouse in the city is worse for that Sarah, they stand in the doorway, having one "last look" at the cards on display.
A swift kick in the ankles, moves them along nicely. lol

Yes, shops are ALWAYS full of them! There should be a special side lane or something for people to go and stand in if they are unsure about where they want to go or what they want to see next. Oen of the worst places for me though is when I'm on my way to work and there are these big escalators that are really wide, but yet, people choose to stand all slouched-over and sideways while on them and I do basically have to say 'move it' to them and then they move. But it's very annoying. Common sense people!

NO - I hate retail. I HATE crowds. And if anyone doesn't like it, tough this is a rant room! lol

Of course you can rant all you like, this is a rant forum after all.
I agree with you, and I can't be doing with all these shoppers (especially this time of the year) blocking aisles/doorways etc...
What I was puzzled by was you gave the impression that you were shocked with this behaviour, as if Christmas shopping was something new.

Hey, this time of year quite a few people have trouble with all the lights and blinking. Not to mention the tons of decorations etc.. This along with crowds, noises and distractions lead to sensory overload and can cause
certain seizures. People can blank out for a second ot two. Keep this in mind when some stop in the wrong places.

There is a differance between what I wrote and rude people. BarbraFan just
addressed the rude issue.

It's called being passive/aggressive, people. It's the only control they'll ever have over your lives. And they exercise it instantly.

It's called being passive/aggressive, people. It's the only control they'll ever have over your lives. And they exercise it instantly.
...and frequently.
This is true, for many people. I've seen certain people purposely walk in the center of an aisle, making it impossible for others to pass---and get positively upset and offended if you ask to pass. I've seen teenagers strolling down the street--IN the street--and motorists having to blow their horms to get them to move. They feel they have no control over their own lives, so they pull stunts like that just to feel momentary control.
As for people stopping and rummaging through the sale papers as they enter the supermarket, or parking themselves in front of the display you want to shop, or yakking on their wireless phone and not caring about or even noticing as their kids tear up things and spill stuff on the floor, that's what I call MSA Syndrome: Malignant Self-Absorption.

I was thinking about people stopping at the top or bottom of the escalator. They stop trying to decide where they want to go. You bump into them, and they give you a dirty look. I also hate when you hold the door open, and they don't say thank you. It is also funny watching people running for a door so they don't have to hold it open. They squeeze through, and let it slam in the face of the people coming behind them. I saw a guy do that recently, and it hit him hard in his side. He looked like he was going to cry. I wanted to say don't you feel like a fool now..

A Scottish lady who lives near my Dad, thinks it is comical, because my son is called Wayne.
She told me it means "wee one/ baby", and he's now 30 years old. :p:p

Indeed. With the exception of groceries and toiletries I always do.
