Go green take the bus!! Well, that isn't the only thing that goes green!
Talk about nasty, gross, yucky, and putrid. What about those individuals that
reek and stink on the bus??? Were not talking the vagrants- but the ones that choose not to wear deo or use a bar of soap regualarly. I mean the odor will leave you green.

Not all buses are poverty-ridden and/or disgusting. Of course there's going to be a slight weird smell with that many different people just like any public space. But it's not to a nauseating level. Also keep in mind that there's poor people who are fresh and clean and rich people that are dirty and smelly.

One took the bus about a year ago out of curiosity - first time since a kid.

Never again, got off early and walked. Truly hellish way to travel.

riders are nutters or anti socials. There are some parents with kids and decent middle class. Let's not knock it completely. It's just some that ride stink!

Buses that go to colleges\universities (like the one I take) aren't bad because everyone is between the ages of 18-34,..but I've been on a bus where someone vomited EVERYWHERE..it was bad

I've also been on a bus with open beer cans in the back :(

The bus that takes people around where I live is mostly taken by retarded people, vegetables and window lickers.

In my city, taking the bus is common, especially for people who work at the universities, because parking is a big problem. If you ride the bus during normal "working" hours, then it's not bad, only crowded at times. If you go at night, then it can be awful. Whether people themselves are bathed sort of depends on which neighborhoods you travel through. I generally do not mind taking the bus.

Would'nt it be nice if the buses had some kind of sensors where it could tell the smell level of an individual? Before they board it would shut the door and say,"Boarding rejected-smell level unacceptable." LMAO!!! I mean were talking about a university route during the daytime city bus!!! I would love to walk up to these individuals and hand them a bucket of water and a bar of soap.
