Ask her to spend her money on new underwear, bring it into the office
still in the bag - but for you to "borrow" - you wear it... then hand it back saying:
"thanks for that, you can wash them now"
When moochy cow recoils, simply retort:
"I know it's a mooching, scadging, free-loading, cheapskate
low-life thing to do - so I thought YOU would approve"
(depending on developments, violence may be needed as follow up)
hope this helps :wiggle:

Tell her to get a contract phone....or not to talk as much.....or better still, go visit instead ;)
Total rudeness.
Perhaps buy a credit voucher for her phone, and the next time she asks to borrow yours, you can say, 'I knew you'd ask..here you go"... a subtle hint. ;)
I would simply ask: "Can't you get your own phone?"

How much of a friend is she really? That's a serious question. Maybe she thinks that since you have a contract phone it's no big deal. If she's a good friend in every other way, then maybe you can tell her that it does cost you money to have her use your phone (she takes your minutes and causes you to have to recharge more often) and you'd like her to pay you back, for example, she could buy lunch when you go out. Or simply tell her you're getting mad about it and you'd like her to stop. If she's not really a friend, and the way you can tell is by how you'd think she'd respond to your dealing with it directly, tell her to bugger off! You're better off without people like that clinging to you.

Next time she has credit pretend you left your phone at home and spend as long on her phone as she spends on yours. Maybe she'll get the hint.

Now Sarah, you know that you are one of my favorite mods, but I must be
frank regarding this issue.
Why do you allow her to use you??? She can't use your phone unless you
allow the transaction to take place. Now, if the :grrr: is just going against your wishes that is all together different. Let's look at the first scenerio.
You must be firm and I mean FIRM with this little parasite. When she sees you are no longer allowing the behavior she will quit. However, these kinds
of parasites can be hard to get rid of, so keep in mind she may try to use
you again. The answer is NO!! If she claims she has an emergency, then
you dial the number and do the talking not her. Better yet tell her to go use a payphone. She will keep walking all over you unless you grow a backbone
and lay the law down. If she starts any crap call the cops. Put the rag in her
place,(preferably the garbage can.)
Now onto the other scenerio where you have asked her to stop and yet she
keeps going. There is such a thing as a retraining order and an injuction prohibiting harrassment. Check into these two and also for the above issue.
Maggots like these need to be SHOWN that they can't disrespect others and try to control others through their behavior. However, it's majorly important that you document everything that has gone on with any and all incidents.
If the little bitch doesn't back down then nail her. Don't give her excuses as she is not even caring about what you feel,etc...
Now, that I have said my piece I do wish you well.

Just hope that Sarah's phone doesn't ring while she is pretending to leave her phone at home ;)

You know, it's tough. You say no and you will be the person who's wrong in their eyes. I hate situations like that. It's no-win

You could lie and say the battery's too low. Keep using that excuse and maybe they'll get the hint???

Alltogether now- take a deep breath, get into your best Jock Ewing act and say,"Give me that phone before I knock the hell outta you!" Don't forget that
squint he gives and hold her stare. That should do the trick!
