Plastic bottles

Oh my Christ. Do you know those bottles of water you get with the *absolutely useless unnecessary* closing top???? There is a guy beside me who sucks on it and makes all these noises, then squeezes the plastic, gulps all the water down and then makes an 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH' sound afterwards.

I'm going to friggin hit him with it!!!:grrr::grrr::grrr:

Just buy one yourself, open it whilst squeezing it at the same time......making sure to point it in his direction. That should stop him sitting near you in future ;)

I do think you could "open a dialogue" of sorts by following this advice. Have a cup of yogurt or soup or something nearby, and when he starts making the bottle noises, slurp your soup with a spoon, or do a lot of unnecessary "umms" and "oohs"--make it sound like you're having a freakin' orgasm if you have to. You'll be basically mirroring his inconsiderate noise. He might think you're nuts and ask what's going on. You can simply say "demonstrating absurdity by being absurd". If he is even slightly sensitive, he might figure out on his own that he's disturbing others.

But if you have to do it several times, make sure it's totally obnoxious or else he might not catch it.

Or you could just tell him he's being a jerk....but where's the fun in that? :)

Like one of those sports drink bottles. You take the plastic lid off pull the stopper up and drink, push it back down when you have finished.
