It's obviously going to be entirely dependent on how well Dynasty sells.

I expect that you are right, so we all better make sure we order the Dynasty Seasons. Now if only we will get a release in the UK?

Some good news - when Paramount UK do release shows, it's not in the volume format.

The Love Boat, The Streets of San Francisco and The Fugitive have all been released over here in complete season set format.

Now if only Paramount would get their fingers out re. a UK DVD release.

That sounds promising. Paramount sound quite good, I will be buying them when they come out.

Yes, I think there is. If DYNASTY sells well, they might consider releasing THE COLBYS simultaneously with Seasons 6 and 7. But there also needs to be a lot of pushing. Were it not for the incessant badgering from KNOTS LANDING fans, it would never have happened. Fans need to be more vocal.

Would it help if Dynasty was selling well in the UK and Europe (if the fifth season of Dynasty is released in the UK on Monday 21st June they will overtake the Region 1 releases in the US. Unless the first volume of the fifth season is released on Region 1 before the UK and Europe)?

The sixth season of Dynasty I'm guessing, will have it's 30 episodes ("The Titans" being a special two hour episode) spread over 8 discs. I'm not totally sure how CBS DVD would spread the 30 episodes over the eight discs, because of the double length episode "The Titans" and the two-part episode shown later that season.

It would be a nice teaser if CBS DVD included the first episode of The Colbys ("The Celebration") as a bonus feature in the Dynasty sixth season DVD set.

With there being 24 episodes in The Colbys' first season I would assume that the first season's episodes would be spread over 6 discs.

I think it won't be long for The Colbys release on DVD. The season 7 of Dynasty is not release yet.

Would it be possible for someone on here to do a mock-up/pretend version of front and rear cover artwork for a possible Colbys: Season 1 boxset please?

I really hope there will be a DVD release of the Colby's. It's never been broadcast on Swedish television so I haven't seen the second season...yet...

Suggestions for front and rear cover artwork on a possible DVD set of The Colbys' first season:

- Dynasty II: The Colbys used as the show title on the front cover (it was used for the first few episodes and might get more people to buy the set if they know it's related to Dynasty)
- have Charlton Heston, Katharine Ross and Stephanie Beacham on the front cover (similar to John Forysthe, Linda Evans and Joan Collins being used on the front covers for the Dynasty DVD sets from Season 2 onwards)
- a photo of all of or most of the main cast on the rear cover
- a mention in the season overview on the rear cover of Dynasty characters appearing now and then in the first season.
