ABC was almost totally snubbed. CBS seems to have most of the nominations. Personally, ABC has really sucked last year. How GH got a best show and best writing nom...i have no idea.

I'm pretty dumbfounded that Kathy Brier isn't nominated -- but the guy who plays Charlie Banks is. Crazy! She really deserved a nomination, in my opinion.

WTF? Katherine Kelly Lang and Brier don't get nominations, and yet Stafford and Cooper whom I love but did NOTHING last year (damn, is Stafford getting a nom for the Sheila thing?) do?

And Heather Tom gets a nom when she hasn't even had a storyline 'till last week??? :S:S:S Talk about Emmy darlings.

The nominations are really strange. I was surprised about Heather Tom being nominated too. I'm happy for David Canary though.

Yes, some of the Y&R acting nods seem odd. Why does Jeanne Cooper put her name in lead??? She was more supporting.....same with Christian LeBlanc. Also, the actor who plays Devon had no story with the exception of an icky crush on his sister. And did I read that correctly??? The recast Colleen got a nod????????

On a positive note, I am so pleased the actor who plays Luke on ATWT got a nomination as that was well deserved.

I think many in the industry are shocked with Y&R's three nominations in Younger Actress....

I think ABC will always be snubbed until Frons is outta the picture..He is ruining ABC daytime and their is no way ABC soaps will ever get ahead if he is in charge, The ratings of AMC disgusts me and I don't ever remember them being this bad.

While I will admit that I was suprised that 3 Y&R actresses were in younger lead, but why did the two soap mags just single out the actress who plays Heather? Out of the three nominated, she would be the most deserving of the nomination- she was decent in the trial of Phyillis, cute with Daniel and very good when she learned Paul was her father.
