Loved the haunting 'I'll Stand By You' and was disappointed to here Girls Aloud cover and destroy this great tune

I've got all their albums. The first one is probably still the best. "Private Life" was the initial stand out track which they stubbornly refused to release as a single thereby elevating it to instant "Stairway to Heaven" status, (Grace Jones released a version instead, steamrollering through it in her own inimitable fashion) but over the years, "Tattooed Love Boys" has perhaps dated better. I also have a particular soft spot for "Talk of the Town", which reminds me of being sixteen and discovering the joys of Pernod and black.
