What things would you like to see in a third reunion:

- According to historical accounts, Ivan Grozny (the Terrible) killed his most suitable heir Ivan, Jr. Supposedly, Ivan beat his daughter-in-law and caused her to miscarry. Ivan, Jr. argued his father, but Ivan, Sr. beat him on the head with his staff, killing him. A similar situation could be done for J.R. and John Ross. John Ross arrives at Southfork with his new bride Pamela Rebecca "Becky" Cooper-Barnes. J.R., of course, tries to break the two apart. Becky becomes pregnant. Well, J.R. does not want his descendancy to be forever tainted by Barnes blood, so he causes her to miscarry. Much to J.R.'s delight, it causes a great strain on their marriage, as Becky can no longer conceive. John Ross learns of his father's actions and confronts him. A fight results and ends with John Ross's death. J.R.'s vile life comes back to bite him: he now has to go through life with guilt and with the knowledge that he will never have an heir from John Ross.

Pam and Sue Ellen are lezzin' out with each other, which is what the orginal tension between them was all about.

JR's got Dr. Danver's to get Bobby all addickted to Viagra who then spends most of his free time away from the office and out in the livestock barn.

Donna has become a conservative televangelist and Ray her partner in the Braddock chapter of the N.R.A., preaching "thou shalt not kill, unless it's by Glock" or something like that, and flooding Takapa on orders of George W. Bush and his Texas Environmental Advisory Panel, of which she is also a member.

Lucy has her Ph.D. in clinical psychology.

Miss Ellie and Clayton haunt the ranch, warning of impending doom once Jock graduates from Hell.

Cliff is on trial for murdering Afton and a restaurant worker outside her condo, even though everyone assumes JR set the whole thing up; Cliff vows to search for the real killers.

Jenna continues to drool in a corner someplace.

I want bobby and pam to be reunited at last and Christopher to meet his 'mommy' after twenty years.

I want Ray to meet his now grown daughter and reconcile with Donna, claiming they both never loved anyone else as much as they loved each other.

I want JR to get cancer and rekindle his relationship with Sue Ellen when she finds out.

John Ross and Christopher are waging it out for Ewing oil, practically Sue Ellen and Pam's worst nightmare. John Ross is exactly like JR, womanising behind his pregnant wife's back.

In the end, the family will gather at JR's deathbed as they watch him die, while John Ross' wife gives birth to the Ewing heir. I also want Lucy to return with Mitch and a couple of kids.

At the end, a portrait of JR would go up in John Ross' office where Jock's used to be. John Ross would pick up JR's cowboy hat, place it on his head and give the kind of grin that made us viewers want to punch JR.

The Ewing legacy has continued, and warped John Ross with power, thus giving some closure to DALLAS ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!

That's not a bad idea. Ultimately if there was to be proper closure, Bobby and Pam need to get back together and JR's death would equally bring a certain finality to it.

My idea for a reunion...........

That is WONT happen it would be an embarrassing disaster, Dallas only worked in the 70s and 80s it DIDN'T work in the 90s as that was a new era with a new direction in TV so it certainly wont work in the 00s

True, TV is so much dictated by reality shows and also ratings. Unless the ratings are virtually guaranteed to be a success, any proposed project won't get off the ground.

I always wondered what it would be like if Christopher ended up becoming the cheating, conniving scoundrel and not John Ross. Certainly would put a BIG twist on things, would it not? You'd never expect it from him! lol

I like your other ideas too nofoodleft. Marky, yours were hysterical. lol Ray_Krebbs, you had some good ideas too....but one thing always struck me odd. Pamela Rebecca Cooper is Christopher's cousin (albeit not by blood, I KNOW, but still....) and if anything developed between her and one of the Ewing boys, well, it would almost turn the family tree into a wreath.

I don't think Sue Ellen would support John Ross's cheating ways. Tension builds
