Torchwood seems like deadwood in everyones eyes, so what spin off would you come up with ?

Bo's Angels:

A spin off with Martha, Rose and Captain Jack. The Face of Bo taking on a Charlie like role, giving his 'angels' a mission for each new episode :D

Skaro:

Series set on the Daleks home planet where humans have been taken from earth and enslaved. A direct copy of Planet of the Apes but with Daleks :D

Romana's war

Predating the Time War the female time maiden travels the galaxy with a cute 20 something guy companion.

:D

Actually, the Daleks have had their own audio series, in which they go around the universe, scheming against, enslaving and exterminating humans. It's called 'Dalek Empire' and was written by Nicholas Briggs (voice of New Who's Daleks, Cybermen and other monsters). Gareth Thomas, Sarah Mowat and Mark McDonnell starred in the first two series. (There was a sort of romantic sub-plot which the cast described as "Boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy chases across universe after girl, boy loses legs, girl dies, girl comes back to life, boy and girl reunited, girl kills boy"). David Tennant, Sarah Mowat and William Gaunt starred in the third series.

Romana II has teamed up with Leela in the 'Gallifrey' audios and they sometimes do some travelling.

Bo's Angels...!:) Rose might be unavailable and you'll have to choose from Gwen, Tosh or Ianto instead.

I think Torchwood achieved the highest ever BBC Three ratings though. All six regulars are back for series two.

Maybe he did become the Face of Boe but he hasn't yet.
That happened in the future.

Oh that would be like Charlie turning out to be Bosley Eek.

How about a spin off with U.N.I.T. The brigadeer dies and his daughter goes through his things and discovers stuff about space travel and the likes. She is a scientist working for NASA. She discovers U.N.I.T run by a elderly doctor woman (the doctor from Tenko).

Anyway its a bit like Torchwood but good :D

another good head of UNIt or Torchwood would be the other woman from Tenko, you know the skinny elderly one. She was ace, probably dead now as she was aboout 80 back then.

I think they need to give Torchwood a type of CTU element, so you have a boss who is outside of the immediate action but you question which side they are on. The show needs more of an edge, which is not achieved through chucking in the odd swear word or knicker drop.

There is a Big Finish UNIT audio series, featuring appearances by Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier. David Tennant played his successor, Brimmicombe-Wood.

Reminds me of the production, 'Downtime', where the Brigadier had a daughter and encountered the Yeti. Sarah Jane Smith and Victoria were in it, too and Professor Travers from the Troughton Yeti stories

Without the Brigadier, would you bring back John Levene as Benton? Hope not.

We should have a fan fiction here. I love reading these continuations in between each series.

I'd have to disagree with you big time on this. A majority of DW fans love the show, while it has got some good crits, and has been a hit in the ratings (highest rated show on satellite/cable when it was first shown). This is why series two is being moved to BBC 2.

I like it. Got off to a slow start, but then improved dramatically. With Martha being in three of the episodes for series two, and the promise of a DW villain as well, it looks like going from strength to strength.
