When is Y&R's Amber getting the boot???

Is any other Y&R fans tired of Amber? I thought her storyline on Y&R was short term ? I think the initial story was good as a gold digger Amber knows that Cane is Jill's son and cons him into marrying her (this blends well into her B&B past)....however, with getting Daniel hooked on porn and now the dead ex boyfriend it seems that I am feeling Amber overload! Let's send her back to LA..... what do other viewers think?

Since the actress' album flopped, she'll be sticking around. Same for that boring David Chow. Lynn Latham has been on overdrive firing actors we like so she can bring on newbie after newbie after newbie.

I loved Amber on B&B, but this has completely ruined her for me. She's insanely annoying and impossible to even love to hate. The current storyline with Plum (seriously PLUM?) is sick. What are we supposed to feel about these criminals? I didn't see an once of sympathy for this dead man who really did nothing wrong from what we saw.

I can't wait until Brooke comes and reveals how bad Amber is. I wish it meant her exit, but Latham will find a way to keep her around. Such a shame she and Cane are the stars of JILL and KATHERINE's big story. What a joke!

Amber was supposed to be on for six months but it seems that that has changed.

I completely agree CSM and Aaron, it has started becoming a little too much. Plum is a ridiculously ridiculous name and the fact that Jill and Kay's storyline is about them is absurd.

Amber's character has indeed been ruined and I am not going to say again how terrible LML has made Y&R. Only that I will.

I agree, I think that Jill and Katherine would be working together to get rid of Amber...like they did with Nina years ago. Instead, they both seem to tolerate her and even, gasp , like her! Hopefully when they find out more about her things will change...

I don't think that Jill and Kay would ever accept or be friendly with someone like Amber, especially Jill, who hated Mac (who is a far better person than Amber is). I would love to see them team up against her, actually, what I would love, is to see them more! But, even if they DO team up against her, it'll probably be played out terribly by LML. And, come to think of it, Amber doesn't need anyone to team up against her... Cane just needs to find out about one (not even all) of her deeds.

By the way, did they ever explain away that mysterious phone call Cane received from a mate of his a couple of months back?

I do not remember seeing that...maybe Cane is a fake? Actually, I could picture Corbell being Jill's son and that would connect him to a few more characters and have a family.

Yes, he got a call while or right after he got the job from Kay and said: "Yes, the completely fell for it" (his act of wanting to gain what he has) or something to that extent. Actually, it's funny you should say that about Corbell, because HE was my first guess... I don't know, Cane always seemed too easy. :D:D:D

Interesting. I found Amber even annoying during her B&B tenure. She was hailed as the "New Brooke", yet she never acheived that status that in my opinion. Athough I enjoyed the baby storyline she was in with Rick, Becky and Tawny.

I can not stand Amber, I too liked her more on B& B.....My sister in law and I talk about the soaps and how we can't wait till she is busted!
