I'll have to see that, the only danger is that Jonathan Ross probably won't take it seriously at all.

I don't think Justin is either! :)

It should be about Dallas but it will be mixed with FNP.

I know that Jonathan Ross doesn't have a lot of interest in DALLAS. He said as much to Linda Gray when he interviewed her on the radio a few years ago and they ended up talking about THE MAN FROM ATLANTIS instead!

Remember that interview. Linda said "Bless you" as she didn't have to discuss 'Who Shot JR' for the 50 thousand time.

Well JR'S (Jonathan Ross, that is) taste has always been...questionable. ;)

But the chances are Jonathan Ross is just going to take the mickey. What's the point of JLC even going onto the show if he isn't allowed to give a bit of publicity to this show he's doing?

Let's see ... To boost his own profile? For the money?

Swami

I have no doubt there's plenty of truth in that but equally JLC will surely want a bit of decent publicity, not Jonathan Ross ridiculing either him or the show.

Well I've heard Ross interview Collins on the radio and he ripped the piss out of him and Collins, like any comic worth his salt, gave as good back. That's the gig. If Ross ridicules the DALLAS show, does it really matter? It's a bit of fluffy light entertainment, not a documentary about the Holocaust.

Justin is going on to promote Bring Back....Dallas. I doubt they'll talk much about Friday Night Project cos its competition for Ross' chat show. Apparently the production company, Simon & Simon Media Ltd. have supplied a clips reel so they will be showing a clip - they don't know what as yet.
Considering how good the press is, I doubt Ross will take the mickey out of the show - I've seen a sneak preview and its absolutely brilliant.

Oh and you got the time wrong - it starts at 10:35pm not 11:20pm. Can't wait!

Absolutely. But what I'm saying is that, leaving the banter aside, if Collins wants to keep on doing similar shows like this (and by all means in a good light-hearted way), surely he would be better off staying clear of interviews with Jonathan Ross?

I know that maybe sounds a somewhat unusual concern but I'd hate to see him become a figure of derision for the likes of Jonathan Ross.

Ross derides everyone, but quite a sweet way. In fact, it seems the more he likes people, the ruder he is to them. It's a vote of confidence if anything.

Jonathan isnt nasty, but unlike Parky it is about Jonathan Ross. Im not a big fan of his actually, he has big stars on the show and doesnt ask them the questions we need asking, or rarely does. Im all for jokes and banter but when you have someone like Billie Piper on the show and days before there are huge rumors shes leaving Dr Who and you don't bother asking her about it...................

I can see the interview now (in my head). It will cover.........

Victorias boobs or Charlenes

Ugly baby Christopher

Sue Ellen drunk.

What a great personality Larry is and then some mention of his eccentric side and what hes like.

What else mmmmm

That will be it.

Sorry but I didn't. I live in Ireland and that is the time in my tv guide, What's on TV. Maybe THEY got the time wrong or perhaps it's a regional variation.

I know someone who was in the audience last night - apparently it was a brilliant interview - Jonathan Ross was really nice to JLC and they showed a clip of Justin ambushing Larry Hagman which is apparently hilarious - got a big laugh with the audience. You see a tiny bit of it on the trails on C4 at the moment.

He didnt talk much about the Dallas show. :D

He actually spoke more about the A Team.

Jonathan Ross really annoys me now.

I haven't watched it yet, but I much prefer Jonathan Ross on the radio on Saturday mornings when he's much more off the cuff and less sycophantic towards the guests.

I was told hes part of a 'BBC in crowd' with Gervais and some others. I actually find him really arrogant which can be appealing in some but with him its just annoying. Also hes really fake, maybe thats the wrong word but hes always performing. That was always a big part of his techniqie but now he feels more ego orientated.

It was interesting watching him with Justin Lee Collins as it felt a little awkward. I really like Justin :)

So do i James, Love his radio show!
I taped it cos the night it was on i was firing questions in Charlenes direction!! :D (on later in Scotland) Watched it yesterday and did hope there would be more about Dallas (I hated A team!) but nice to see him cahsing after Hagman in his buggy car (whatever it was) and if it was really hot what was Larry doing buttoned up to the nines in leather for!! :D

Jonathon is a cheeky chappie (gervais is a bit up his own backside these days and I thought Extras wasnt "great" :D )

Actually didn't think the interview was that great - from John Ross' point of view - find JLC hilarious, but I agree with Pamela, Jonathan is really annoying. He kept cutting him off mid sentence (he was JUST ABOUT to talk about Linda and Larry and was cut off by the picture of Larry coming up!) I had taped it on Friday night and when watching it back, I was tempted to fast forward as he seemed to talk about a lot of stuff that had nothing to do with Dallas. The clip of Larry on the golf buggy was so funny! lol

Watched Justin Lee Collins on JONATHAN ROSS yesterday. Both JLC and La Ross agreed that Terry Wogan help "make" DALLAS in the UK. That's what I think too!
