I'd hereby like to announce that after a long time, I know have a boyfriend again. It happened about 3 days ago and totally unexpectedly. I've known Jason for a few months and we've just been friends - in fact he was involved with someone else , someone who treated him badly and cheated on him but I felt it wasnt my place to interfere - and I never entertained the idea of us being more than friends. Anyway we've become fairly close over the past couple of months and in a way I was a confidante to him. Anyway 3 days ago he asked me if I thought there could ever be anything more between us and I said I suppose there could be but we should just give it time and who knows what the future could bring.

I couldn't stop thinking about it though and I realised that I actually wanted more than just friendship from him and he wanted that too and to cut a long story short as of Thursday he is now my boyfriend. His ex - who treated him badly, spoke badly of him and cheated of him, does know about us and I wouldn't say I stole him from Peter as they were going through problems and Jason had decided that it was over between them prior to him asking me how I felt about him as Peter had recently slept with an HIV + man without using protection and Jason wouldnt allow him anywhere near him.

This just feels so right for both of us and while we've not yet used the L word we both know that we care deeply for each other but are just taking things slowly and not even thinking about sex or anything like that yet.

No it isnt. That was Brett the German sea captain based in St. Maartin in the caribbean. I still care deeply for Brett and he feels the same way for me but we know there won't ever be anything between us. This guy - Jason - was just a friend for months but a few weeks back we went out together and we both kinda felt something but didnt act on it until now. And this just feels so right. I care for him more than I've cared for anyone before and I just want to be there with him and for him. The thing that I find most attractive about him is that even though he is 5 years older than me, he is still so innocent in so many ways and has an almost childlike quality about him that gives him this certain sense of genuineness that you don't see in many guys today.

Good for you, i learnd a person last year how i had really warm feelings with, but it never got more then just friends, and now he's got another job and i'm really gone mis him and i just wanne cry o'l day long to know the fact that i will never see him again.

Ok, so I decided to bump this thread instead of starting a new one to say that after a month, I am single again.

I broke things off with Jason about 3 days ago because I realised that I'm not ready to commit in the way that he was and also he was just becoming too clingy. I felt like I was starting to drown and so I broke it off before things got any more involved. Also, him living 120km away was an issue and I've realised now that I'm never doing a long distance thing again. No way, this was my 2nd long distance relationship and they just dont work. So anyway I'm single again and I feel happier than I have in weeks.

I was really in love with one person at my work he was just the one for me, and he liked me to but it never got more then just flirting and friends because some way i knew it would never work because we life to far away and we both don't have a car. And some way i lied to me, so i felt used, and i was down for months but now i feel great like a new start.

I'm now almost got over him and don't wanne see him ever again now he don;t work wit h us anymore that's makes the pain more easy.

Now i know what the song "Love Hurts" really means.

Know i wanne stay single for a while because i always felt free and happy in some way, if i ever met the richt person than i wanne know for shure there's a future for us.
