I feel like it's november 1992 all over again and some governor of the least literate state in the country just beat the President who saw us through the gulf war.

I'm really disgusted with people. do people think it's acceptable to vote for who looks cute? this kind of injustice makess me want to echo the disgusting ann coulter's voice and say that women shouldn't vote b/c women just vote for who's cute.

i'm so distraught, maybe tomorrow i'll gain some composure, but for now, all i can say is that sundance should've been in the top5 and i will miss him.

I was VERY surprised! I though Sanjaya was gone for sure, same with Hailey.

I think that if you are not as attractive, you have to give a total WOW performance, to stay. But if you're pretty, it's easier to get away with doing an OK job.That not really fair, but they'll get voted off soon enough.

I'm scared for Melinda and Jordin b/c Blake's performance of that marron 5 song was pretty darn good.

the vocals have been pretty good tonight by all 3 finalists.

hopefully melinda will nail the next 2 songs. :)

Relatively disappointing. Her 1st song was forgettable - the 2nd song had an excellent finish - the 3rd song deserved higher praise than it was given.

Blake
Predictable. His first song was also forgettable - and his 2nd and 3rd song sounded too much alike.

Melinda
Predictable. I'm just not a fan. She's alright, but nothing that makes me go "wow" or want to hear/see her again.

LaKisha should've gone, she wasn't doing so hot lately. Beat Box Boy, as you refer to Blake, is getting boring because he incorporates the exact same beatboxing every week. It's not really fresh anymore -- and with something so unique, he had to keep it new and exciting otherwise people will get bored. It's just becoming redundant with him.

I can't watch American Idol live anymore, to me there's nothing appealing about an audience of 16 year old girls who don't know who Sting is booing Simon for an accurate assessment of Blake's first performance because "he's the bad guy". Really, Simon is the only person on the show who's opinion is at all valuable and he's the one staking his own career on the winner. I really think it's because he's European.

Yes, Melinda totally got the shaft. Fortunately, last season has proven that you don't even have to make it to the top 3 to be successful. Melinda has a bright future ahead of her:)
