I don't think that Shilpa will have any control over this Sarah and hopefully her family and friends will make her see sense that it is racism. The public have heard the comments now and they aren't going to forget them in a hurry whether Shilpa tries to keep the peace or not.

I agree, I don't want to see this brushed under the carpet. The girls involved must be educated about this and made to learn that their racist comments have been extremely unacceptable. They should be arrested like any other person would be for such extremist behaviour.

This whole thing is feeding off its own hype. Apparently, offcom have a special link on their site to make it that much easier to lodge a complaint. I'm sure some are complaining just to get the numbers up.

I suspect some people are now just enjoying the excitement of hating Jade etc. for the sake of it, which is fine so long as they don't self righteously dress it up as compassion for the victimised Shilpa. That really would be too hypocritical.

Jade made Comments about Shilpa's Surname which sounded Racist.
Danielle called Shilpa a 'Dog', she also said Shilpa should F**K of Home.

I know about the "Go back home" comment and not speaking English but what else?Jade called her Shilpa Poppadum and they made fun of her eating habits talking about Indian culture in general saying that they're so thin because they puke up their food because they undercook it etc. She has been referred to as 'The Indian' constantly by Jade's mother Jackiey and of course there's the comments from Dannielle which you've mentioned. Jack also allegedly used the 'P' word but C4 won't release an unedited version of the footage without the bleep sound. I think they could be forced to though if this gets any worse. There has of course been other references such as Jade telling her to take that f**king rug off (one of them things that Shilpa wears round her neck like a shawl, a common part of Indian fashion I think) etc etc.

Not to forget the mocking of the accent and Jo's "there was a young girl from Bombay" limerick.

That's a disgrace!!! And Jo O'Meara from squeaky S Club 7 should be ashamed of herself!!! I find all these comments to be nothing but racism and don't see how they could be seen in any other way.
