Yeah they had the same mother and it was never revealed as to who their father actually was because it was not ruled out it was Jason or Cecil or perhaps Philip? or the rapist

Philip? He was sterile; he couldn't father Jeff, how the hell was he going to father twins???

Jason I was not sure if philip were temporarily sterile or permanantly sterile and how it came about so it may have been that he was sterile at the time jeff was concieved but not at the time the twins were concieved , I do not see as this is an impossibiliity. Besides I think the twins would have turned out to be Jasons when all was said and done.

Does anybody know the birthdate of the twins and the date of Philip's disappearance? Was it ever mentioned in the show? I don't think so. So Philip could be the father.

Well, according to the Authorized Biography, Fallon was born in 1956, and she and Jeff are contemporaries. The date given the most for Jason and Sable's marriage is 28 years (in 1986). That puts Jeff and Fallon around 30 years old in 1986. The twins were born in 1962 (supposedly). Philip never came back after "dying" in Vietnam. None of the Colbys saw him again until Connie and Hutch ran into him.

That's the one I was trying to think of, my bad, sorry. Getting all mixed up in all the great drama of these classic shows, they rule.

But it does not address the period he was sterile, and what the circumstances of his sterility are maybe he has no testicles, then it would be permamant and that would be that.

The twins might be born in 1958 since Monica was 20 in 1978 when she had her affair with Cash Cassidy.

As for Philip, the show was extremely accurate: Philip discovered he can’t be the father of Jeff on May, 23 1957. So even if he sent his semence to Sable by mail, he couldn't be the father of the twins. And he disappeared soon after that (in 1958 or 1959).

So he could be the father of the twins.
No he couldn't.

If another Colby has to be the father of the twins, he might be Cecil.
