One of my favorite Cally moments - at the marriage counselor's office.
Worst moment: Bobby is thrusted into the Clayton & Miss Ellie storyline. All this time they were doing just fine on their own and suddenly it's BOBBY who catches Jessica. This 'superhero' act got old in season 2.

It was good to see Cally finally see the light by what she overheard at the counselor's office. Her saying something like "I'll make sure your license is revoked if you tell JR" sounded a little too knowing for an uneducated country girl. I was surprised she knew a counselor would even have a license.
So true, Jonnrobert, why was Bobby suddenly brought in to save the day? How much more interesting this storyline would have been to have ended with a showdown between Clayton and Jessica! Clayton was gipped by not getting the opportunity to be the one to confront her and to wrap up the storyline.
The funniest line today had to be Carter McKay telling Clayton something like, "No offense, Clayton, but Jessica's a nut. She couldn't tie her own shoelaces." As much as I like seeing McKay as an adversary of the Ewing family, I enjoyed his scene with Clayton today -- the two old dinosaurs still around.
Please tell me Stephanie Rogers will be leaving soon. I thought she was only supposed to be on for a few episodes but she keeps coming back. I'm so tired of seeing that smugness she exudes, and her strong woman act is coming across more as bitchy.
Michelle pulled another "poor me" in her letter, and April and James are sorry thinking that they let her down? Oh, please, she's being a spoiled brat. I mean, April offered to set her up in a smaller business, it just wasn't big enough for Michelle. And James wanted their relationship, he just wasn't ready for marriage. I'm so tired of everything having to be Michelle's way, and to see April and James feeling bad because they let her down is ridiculous.
It's odd, but I find neither Cally nor James compelling to watch separately. But put them together, and they are much more interesting.
Way to go Lucy! She was actually offered a job to run an art gallery in Europe. Charlene did a really good job today in her scenes with Cally. She came across as more mature, almost as if Lucy has finally grown up.

Mercifully, today is the end of Stephanie Rogers, the most useless character to grace Dallas since Casey Denault! And I was afraid that they had dumbed Cally down too much, but she's been pretty good lately. Unfortunately, I think James is getting worse.
Have you noticed that sisters are always crazy on Dallas? Too bad Jenna didn't have a sister;) The Lady Montford/t stuff is, um, interesting. Thank goodness she's a real actress or it could have turned out much worse.
An episode with Lucy! Wonders never cease...tomorrow brings her end-and the end of Miss Ellie:sosad:

Kimberly Foster is off the show and yet she's still in the opening credits? They should remove her and then they can take out that annoying extra bar of music that is played during BBG's image.
In the real world, Clayton, Ellie and Bobby would NEVER be present for the police questioning of Jessica. I've said this before that they really should have a legal consultant for these things.
What's with McKay and Clayton getting all chummy? Weren't they arch enemies a year or so ago?
As if Patrick the marriage counselor is going to leave the door open when he makes that clandestine phone call to JR??? This is an example where I think either the writers are just mailing it in at this point, or the production staff just didn't want to spend the extra bucks to concoct a better way for her to find out. That said, I'm glad Cally showed some strength in that scene.
The show announces the imminent exit of 3 more characters...Lucy, John Ross and Christopher all going to Europe. Do they ever come back?
This episode ended on an up note for me with James and Cally plotting against JR. Someone above mentioned that they are more interesting as a team than apart and I agree. Its interesting seeing a plot against JR for a change.

Wouldn't it have been a riot if Jenna's father had turned out to be Pamela's father instead of Hutch McKinney? Jenna and Pamela finding out they were half-sisters would have been a fun twist.
Although Lucy had no real storylines when returning, it was still good to have an original cast member back at Southfork. For that reason, she will be missed.
Oh, Miss Ellie, must you leave us??? "Dallas" is never quite the same for me without her. I loved Miss Ellie, especially the Miss Ellie of the early years.

The characters seem to be slipping in and out of friendships more constantly. One day they're arch enemies, the next they're friends. We had Bobby telling Cliff to stay away from Christopher, then the next thing you know, he's asking him to be his best man.
McKay seems to constantly flip-flopping between bad guy and good guy. Guess he's a complex sort. Actually, I like the fact that we are never quite sure where he stands -- it makes his character more intriguing. I think today's episode between Mac and Clayton was more an age bonding type of thing. It was as if for a moment they both let their hair down and were just two older men with similar backgrounds enjoying talking to each other as only two people who have been through similar life experiences can do.

I hate to be a spoiler, but Michelle will return sooner than you think. And if you thought her character was ridiculous this season, wait until the next one!!

I liked Cally and James together. I actually thought then that they would be "getting together" because I think they look fabulous together, especially when they are in tuxes and formal wear. The way they "get" J.R. is great. That particular episode is one of my favorites.
